Unless you like doing work for a company with promise of payment and that promise is broken then it is a no brainer. One Star.

Many promised services were never provided and this company has stolen money and materials. Workmanship has been horrible and much has not been up to code. Communication was poor after the first few weeks. Aside from the first week, I had to ask (often multiple times) for the weekly project narrative updates promised (and many of these reported completion dates for project components that were never met). About 8 weeks into what was contracted to be a 8-10 week project, Somersault became much harder to reach; the voicemail box was no longer set up, and email and text communications would often go unanswered or only partially answered. In person meetings that I requested to discuss the project would be pushed off, rescheduled, and then eventually downright missed without communication. The last meeting I requested was over 12 weeks into the project, when work had stopped without explanation by the contractor for at least 4 weeks prior. The little communication I would get turned out to be empty promises to complete the project or correct errors in workmanship. I repeatedly had to ask when certain components that had been promised to be done by certain dates would be done, and many were never completed. The quality of work has turned out to be very poor. The walls were closed up with new drywall prior to all of the rough-in plumbing being completed; closets and some mechanicals were done in a way not in accordance with the CAD plans that were part of the project, and several walls were put in visibly crooked. Changes to the layout were made without consulting me, and other parts of the project were done incorrectly. I was told in writing that rotted floor joists would be replaced, and discovered after Somersault stopped responding that they were not; but Somersault put subfloor over the rotted joists. Failure to replace the boots when doing the roof resulted in a leak damaging the interior ceiling. Written requests to remedy shoddy work were made multiple times according to our contract provisions, and we eventually elected to have someone else complete the work as part of our contract rights because Somersault did not respond. Despite this, and legal counsel also sending a letter to this contractor, Somersault has been unresponsive and has neither provided supposedly-purchased materials for the rehab (AC unit, downspouts, kitchen cabinets, bathroom sink, etc) nor refunded the amount due that has been overpaid (according to contract terms). In addition, throughout the winter the contractor and workers left an electric heater running 24/7 on a thermostat that I found set to 80 multiple times, and argued that there was a problem with the meter. I had the system and the meter tested and investigated multiple times, saw smart-meter reports down to 15 minute increments, and know that the meter functions properly. This resulted in over $2000 in electric costs over only 3 months. The contractor also refused to put in attic access that had previously been in the property, despite city and IRC code specifications. The contractor is bonded, but the bond policy only covers the city. This project was a full gut rehab, so not a small job.
I doubt the other reviews are bots, by the way. One reviewer is the person that I paid directly to complete CAD drawings for this project.

Recently I have been working with Molly from Cooper Services and I have been extremely impressed! Molly goes over and beyond to help get any issue get fixed. Molly and the rest of the company are welcoming, responsive, and overall wonderful!

Cooper Services was hired by our builder to remedy a weed problem at our new home. There is a delay in laying sod and the weeds were overtaking some key areas of our home. The crew did a thorough job cutting back the weeds without damage to new landscaping and plants. They were very polite and professional.

We had Cooper Services out to fix our aging wooden deck. They did an excellent job on a difficult project. Everything was cleaned up perfectly when they left. I am now recommending these guys to all my friends.

We had Cooper Services install a French drain system in our backyard to address a drainage problem we've had for 2-1/2 years since we moved into our Westport home. The dedication, quality of work, and professionalism of everybody on the team has been outstanding. Larry regularly checked in with us throughout the process, and Dallas and Molly were quick to address any questions we had on scheduling or pricing. And the crew (especially Brice and Dave, since they spent the most time on our job) is one of the hardest working and most courteous and friendly crews I've ever had the pleasure of working with. Our drainage problem has been addressed very satisfactorily and we could not be happier. Great job, and great company to work with!

Cooper Services took care of my gutters and made sure everything was hanging correctly, unclogged and sealed properly. Highly recommend! Dallas the owner is so professional and efficient and the crew he sent to address my gutter issues were excellent!! Very professional and knowledgeable!

- Drywall, mud and paint
- Replaced wax seals
- Repaired to the house siding from storm damage

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Eddy and his crew. We found Capital City Construction after getting estimates from two other companies. Third time was a charm here. They show up when they say they will show up (imagine that!) and they work until the job is done and DONE RIGHT (imagine that!). Above and beyond! Our main bathroom is absolutely gorgeous and I can’t be more happy with the results.

Eddy and Jose do amazing work and are true lifesavers! We originally hired someone else to do our new flooring and they did an awful job. Thankfully we found Eddy and Capital City Construction & Remodeling and they fixed all the errors and our floors look beautiful!

Eddy was great to work with on my recent remodel. He answered all my questions and was helpful in planning the vision for my new kitchen. I highly recommend working with them for any home remodel projects!

To say Eddy did a good job would be an understatement. I have never seen such a beautiful master bathroom. The effort he put in and the eye for detail he has is phenomenal. My kitchen was average before I got it remodeled, and now it is truly like a chefs kitchen. My friends and family were so blown away by the amount of detail that he put in, they almost don't believe that it is the same bathroom and kitchen as before.
Eddy's service is worth every penny and then some, he was always on time, very responsive, and also a really nice guy! He is the only person I would recommend for kitchen and bathroom remodeling. Thank you again Eddy, you are the best!!

Eddy & his team did a beautiful job on my bathroom remodel. Everyone was easy to work with, friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. I am fairly new to large renovation projects and came armed with lots of questions, but Eddy was able to put my mind at ease. The entire crew showed great attention to detail and made sure to leave the house clean upon completion of the project.
