I went through my home warranty service (AHS) and they assigned NW Sundance Services to my service request. My water heater wasn't producing as much hot water as it was previously. The first tech came out and he suggested some causes and solutions I could try. Try those suggestions over the weekend but the problem persisted. Gave another call to AHS to reopen the service request and scheduled another visit from NW Sundance. This time Alan came out. Very professional and knowledgeable, even educated me on some things about my system, including the booster that's installed on the water hester which i never knew the purpose of and just happened to be the cause of the issue. The whole interaction took about 10 mins. Thanks again Alan!

We were assigned NW Sundance Services as our provider through American Home Shield. I was a bit nervous after seeing the reviews here, but had a great experience.
Our technician, Scott, was on time, within the window of time they gave us, and called 30 minutes before he arrived. He was professional and efficient. He diagnosed the hot water/faucet problem we were having, explained it, and fixed it during the same visit. We’re very happy with his service!

We had an outside faucet that was repaired by NW Sundance. It started leaking about 90 days after the “repair”. Used American Home Shield to get it fixed.
Was put on hold twice, never offered to fix their previous work (30 days only not 90+). They seem to do great work but if it doesn’t last then you end up in a cycle of repair. So, paid $200 to have it fixed and have to pay another $200 to have it fixed again after 6 months. And they “NW Sundance” really doesn’t care if they came out before or not. Very very frustrating. -

If there was the option for zero stars I’d give them triple zero.
I’ve tried using them three times through my home warranty.
This company is one huge scam.Their technician came out, took some photos, left. Then the office says they can only schedule me one month out.
No matter how much I pleaded with them that we have a serious water damage to a brand new floor, caused by a leaking water heater, plus no hot water, we have 4 small children all under age 5 who cannot take baths in over a week, Dishwasher unable to be used (for a 6 person household yes it’s a necessity), cannot operate washing machine properly, they would not budge. To top it off, they had the nerve to “politely” let me know that there was 962 dollar out of pocket cost to bring the connection to the water heater up to code during replacement, PLUS 75 dollar booking deposit if I choose to schedule the appointment for a month out!
Previously they also came out to check a leaking pipe, again too photos and left. Then decided that the can’t repair because I need to call a separate company to make access for them. Even though they could do it, by my home warranty wouldn’t cover the job to make access to the leaking pipe. They refused even if I offered to pay them directly for that portion of the work!
Whatever the situation, stay far away from these scammers. They pretend to be a company which provides “service”.

Had the plumber repair a faulty pipe and my newly renovated tub was scratched which thing happen but the manager at this location refuses to return my numerous calls. Have been trying for 3 weeks now…never in my life have I seen such utter disregard of customers… …repairs are going to cost in the hundreds and will unfortunately have to go alternate routes to get my money reimbursed….

From your Receptionist to Technician, I was always well inform on the status issues and the scheduling of return trips due to unavailable Product Support, tools needed & delayed due to illness. Overall: Great Support all the way through!!

Professional, patient, and thorough.
They came out on the first visit, tested the plumbing, and completed everything the same day. Dependable, accurate, and no wasted time. I would trust this company again without hesitation. -

Could a company be any worse; don't think possible!!- never the same plumber- multiple canceled appts- a simple broken handle and diverter repair- came out again with wrong pieces-- a month now to try and get repaired-- unbelievable

This company is fantastic. Zach and his team were able to remove and replace our old worn-out water heater ahead of schedule. He was very polite and professional. My family and I are very happy with the work he did and how quickly it was all resolved. Highly recommend them.

I'm not surprised at some of the 5-star reviews here. Up until installation, my experience with the NW Sundance Services was what you'd expect from an HVAC company. However, the positive reviews here must have had very simple services done. For my home, the end result of what ought to be a straightforward job for an HVAC company is nothing short of poor-quality work.
Details: I had a mini-split replaced in an upstairs bedroom. The installers put the new indoor blowing unit off-center of where the old unit had been. As a result they put a new hole in the wall for the electrical that they left exposed. When I called to try and get someone back out to move the new unit to where the old unit was, they said that the service was "complete" because the unit was working. I paid a lot of money (in the multiple thousands) to have this job done.
You can see the end result from the pictures I posted here. There is off-color paint from where the old unit was covering before (not a big deal, but not great) and a visible hole with live wires that feed the blowing unit coming out of it to the right of the unit. A professional company ought that is paid thousands of dollars for their work ought to have enough integrity to not leave a job like this and consider it complete. They refuse to come back out and claim it's not their problem.
I'm surprised this company is still in business. I think they only reason they are is because they have relationships with home warranty companies that feed them jobs to do. My advice is that if you get referred to this company by a home warranty company, ask for a different contractor. If you have the option to go with a different company, you should. Don't trust their work and if you do have to work with them, don't pay them before the job is done.
Hard lesson learned on my part, I'm posting this review to hopefully help other folks not go through what I did.

STAY FAR AWAY- Sundance was assigned to me via American home shield. They mis-diagnosed my AC issues the first time causing delays as an electrician had to come out to diagnose it for electrical issues. Once the electrician was there he easily was able to tell it was an AC issue - which in turn led Sundance having to come out again where they confirmed. After these delays Sundance wrote up the estimate for almost $5k in out of pocket costs allocated to “modifications”. When I went out for my own bids - these modifications were roughly $1-2k from every other company as the entire bid for replacement of just an AC was around 8k. Sundance blames these issues on what they can pay for on American home shield and American home shield blames these issues on Sundance. I was tired of fighting it and took the cash out option and will run far away from Sundance. Through talking with other companies it is clear Sundance specifically has a reputation in the industry for poor performance, assigning work to other trades when it is clearly their issue, and mid diagnosing issues. It seems to be a part of some scheme to allow for more visits from the home warranty companies. If you are working through a home warranty company try to get a different company assigned before Sundance comes out.

NW Sundance was the contractor I used per my warranty company AHS. Had a plumbing leak. Access hole was made to fix leak. They fixed leak.
I was told they would be sending report and information to warranty company right away so I could proceed with the repair of my ceiling. That was 10 days ago.
Warranty company has reached out to them 2 times per phone and emails. STILL has not received report. This company is very inefficient in processing necessary paperwork. Ridiculousl. Exasperating and ridiciculous. -

They came to snake my washing machine. They cleared the backup very quickly and explained to me the likely cause of blockage. The Washing Machine is draining great now.
The Tech was very friendly and "re-alligned" my down spout for my washing machine free of charge

After having two other local, heating and plumbing services, come to give us quotes and telling us what they thought was wrong with our furnace, we didn’t have much hope for this company as well. Colton from NW Sundance services came to work on our furnaces. He was absolutely amazing – – knowledgeable and honest about what we needed and didn’t need! We are completely totally happy with the work they provided for us, and we will use them with our future needs.

I would not recommend this company. I have been waiting for over a month to get my sink repaired. They keep canceling or rescheduling my appointment. With no explanation just they don't know what's happening. That is just very unprofessional. Please do your research when hiring these companies. My home warranty company sent them to me. I will be reporting this to them. They need to be removed from their list of companies.
