We had a great experience with Rooftop Power from start to finish! Sheena was amazing to work with - she was knowledgeable, informative, and there was absolutely no pressure to move forward. Our project manager, Ally, kept us informed throughout the entire process and it was very easy to track the timeline of things. On install day, our electricians, Austin and Jarret, were friendly and knowledgeable. They kept us informed and explained things clearly for us. Our installers, Hyrum and Jacob, worked efficiently and kept everything neat and organized.

I highly recommend Rooftop Power for anyone looking to go solar!

The team was very professional, polite and diligent. They accomplished their work ahead of schedule. Further, they cleaned up after themselves better than other crews we had at the house. Our crew: Randy, Oscar, Austin, Jake, Tanner and Aryum were the best. They worked hard and answered all our questions. We were very with our experience.

Rooftop Power was extremely efficient, well organized, informative and easy to work with. We are excited to have our solar panels installed! We highly recommend RTP.

Edit 10/16/2025: In the end I would recommend Rooftop Power for anyone looking to get Solar. They were great to work with, no pushy sales tactics, final product came out great, and they had good communication. The only reason we are not giving them 5-stars is the time it took. While the process was extremely easy on our end, and there was no completion date in the contract, it was implied when we signed up that it would be a 2–3-month process, but in the end it took 6 months. If we had only had more realistic expectations on the timeline, this would be a 5-star review. To add to the frustration, while we had good communication, many responses we got was "2-4 weeks" for the next step and we didn't understand how many steps were associated with this. In our minds we thought we were very close, but in reality, we were still months away. There would have been a lot less frustration if we were just told we weren't even close, especially with this occurring over the summer months where we were getting hit with $300-$400 electric bills. This may not be the typical duration it takes as I know 2025 was a big year for solar with the Federal tax credit going away in 2026 so I'm sure Rooftop Power got flooded with new customers once that news broke.

(Original Review) We have not completed the solar process yet. So far, we’ve dealt with Marcus (solar consultant) and Tanner and Jake (site visit / assessment). Our experience has been great thus far and hope things continue well through the process and there are no surprises. To be honest I’m leaving this review now as I have been asked to, but the 5-stars I have given at this time reflects my experience thus far. I’ll be sure to update this review depending on how things go from here and if we complete the process.

Edit 7/11/2025 (from 5 stars to 3 stars): We signed our initial contract with Rooftop Power on 3/29/2025 and from the sounds of it, we are still 2-4 weeks out from an install date. The last email we received said that due to historic volumes of customers we can expect delays in hearing about an install date. I understand there is design, agreements with utility companies and permits that need to be acquired prior to install and the duration may vary based on the utility company and the town issuing the permit, but the process has taken longer than expected. With the summer being the highest production months for solar, it seems we won't see the full benefits of having panels this year. We opted to buy the panels outright rather than finance them, which skipping the finance process I thought would expedite the process. I also question if we did finance, would we be paying high interest on the full loan over the last 2-3 months without seeing any benefit from solar? As of now we've paid 20% of the total cost, which I understand pays for the behinds the scenes work (design, agreements, permits, etc.). Hoping to complete this project soon.

Edit 10/16/2025: (From 3 stars to 4 stars) Our panels got installed on August 20th. After the install and inspection process needs to occur and National Grid (our electric provider) needs to swap out our meter, which took another month. Finally, on 9/23/2025 our panels were active and producing power. The panel install crew were great to work with. They listened to my recommendations and the final product came out very clear on our house. We got some heavy rain immediately after the install and there were no signs of leaks in our roof where they attached the panels.

The group of men that came and the solar panels on the house was nice, efficient, knowledgeable, polite and experienced. Austin, Randy, Oscar and Armani was super about the installation od the panels and didn’t even hear them. I recommend Rooftop and the group of employees that did my installation for my house.

I needed my electric panel upgraded from 100 amp to 200 amp and Ray and Jarret did a great job. They ran a new line on the outside wall and the Tesla box with the controls in it plus a new meter hookup. Ray did the work on the inside of the house to rip out the old electrical panel and put in the new panel. After he was done everything was labeled and working correctly after 7 1/2 hrs. They were both professional and left everything neat and clean. My solar system is all hooked up and passed inspection. Just waiting for RI Energy to change the meter and give us there blessings . RTP were great and took care of everything, very professioal, and would recommend them to anyone.

The crew of Kevin, Arman, Gerry, Oscar, Randy, and Jake for our install was great. They were on time, professional and worked efficiently and neatly. They made sure we knew the next steps on our solar project. They did a great job and were a pleasure to work with.

I have had nothing but a positive experience from start to finish. The communication was spot on which is so rare these days. Gerry, Jake, Melvin & Hyrum were not only thorough and efficient, but a delight and enjoyable to see installers loving what they do. Thank you. Ricia

Going solar was a tough decision for me. The rising costs of electricity, and the delivery fees being much more than what I actually consumed, I was feeling like I was being ripped off by the electric company. I decided to go solar. After much research and lots of interviews with different companies, I decided to go with Marcus Alexander at Rooftop Power. I felt they had the best rate and the best reviews on Google. I had about six companies sit at my dining room table. I wrote down everything and it seems to me that Rooftop Power offers the best package. It took me a few months to really weigh the pros and cons but I think Considering everything, solar is the way to go.

Been a great experience - Justin has been a very communicative + informative rep. He was very upfront about the options for financing, the pros/cons of both (including incentives), and didn't rush me one way or another. He has dad energy in the best way, if your dad knew a ton about solar and financing and home ownership.

Kevin, Gerry, Randy, Jake, and Oscar installed the panels and were thorough and fast. I don't recall the staff that did the necessary electrical + roof work prior to installation but they were equally as professional.

Scheduling has been seamless with the office staff (shoutout to Ally!) and I really have had appreciated the whole team.

Very professional outfit! They replaced a micro inverter that went bad and the entire experience went smoothly. From the office staff taking the order and the crew that came out very excellent! The techs Hyrom and Melvin were professional and a pleasure to interact with at my residence. Thank you RTP!

Quality and UNBELIEVABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

Rooftop Power installed my solar panels about 3 years ago. They've been functioning beautifully with only a couple minor issues and the Rooftop Power team came out right away to address them each time. I have not had an electric bill since installation.
I'm writing this review now because several weeks ago I started hearing a loud high-pitched noise from my bathroom that sounded electronic. To give you the short version - it ended up being the fill valve in my toilet which was shocking because of the volume and pitch of the sound. But for a couple weeks I was convinced it was the solar panels (this was the upstairs bathroom and the sound was carrying up the wall, so it sounded like it was coming from above). The team came out promptly and tested everything and confirmed it was not the solar panels. However, they also heard my frustration and doubt and sent me a DETAILED email with 1) an analysis of the sound, 2) likely sources, and 3) ways to test. That email helped me find the culprit - the toilet.
In other words - they knew the issue was not the solar panels, and STILL HELPED ME FIGURE IT OUT. Above and beyond customer service is an understatement. That sound had been driving me crazy for weeks and I am SO GRATEFUL to Luis and his team for helping me get to the bottom of this.

Shout out to everyone that worked on my roof and chimney and to Kevin, Gerry, Randy and Reagan for my solar panels. They all did an AMAZING job. They did more then they had too.

Rooftop Power's team from Justin Gallant in sales to the roofing guys to the solar installation team of Kevin, Randy, Oscar, Armani and Salvio are all pros and all easy to work with. The roof and solar install looks great. Plus they connected us with a good loan product that meets our needs. Very pleased and looking to getting our system online!

I had been researching solar companies and was working with another company and I wasn’t sure I had met Sheena and I have to say I liked her style. She was not pushy and listen to my needs. I love that rooftop lets me know what’s going on during the process. After researching and "solar shopping" we decided to have RTP install our solar system. From the first day Justin came over to go over details to the date of installation, it has been such a great experience! When I tell you that our electric bill with Ri Energy was $300 up to $600 in the summer and this month our Ri Energy bill was $12.87!!!!!! If you are unsure about solar or who to choose, RTP is your best choice!! Thank you Justin and team for everything!

Bob and Britney at Rooftop Power were super helpful. They helped me figure out how to monitor my solar production and also got me set up on their referral app which was super! Looking forward to making some extra $$$ by telling my friends and family. Super happy with the service and savings so far!

Sheena is a game-changer

Was I unsure about going solar? No doubt, especially after two offsetting experiences with other companies. I was ready to forget it when someone put me in touch with Sheena. By that time, I had developed some pressing concerns, and because of Sheena’s response, her genuine intention to accommodate me was a game-changer. She is not pushy. She doesn’t have to be! Her comprehensive understanding of how the solar program works, coupled with her confidence in her company, is a winning combination. She gave me the space I needed to see for myself, not just with rhetoric but with examples, charts, and various displays. None of my questions were left unanswered, especially considering some uncommon challenges others were not willing or unable to address. Always there for me, Sheena has been my anchor throughout the duration of our collaboration. When completing the project, all came together just as presented to me. As for me, I always felt I was in good hands with her, and now my satisfaction gives proof!

The Crew
Because it was a damp, rainy morning when Kevin and his crew came, I was a little wary about how the installation might work out. Immediately, Kevin put me at ease. After answering a few of my questions, they got started, and the rest was history. Each man knew his job, and with each step of the way, the installation was brilliantly executed without pause. They were respectful, did what they came to do, and picked up the area before moving on. Overall, it was not just a successful day, but a good day!

From my very first meeting with Sheena, I knew I had found the right company. She was professional, knowledgeable, and made me feel confident in my decision. Ally followed up quickly and efficiently, getting my installation scheduled in no time.

I also want to give a huge shoutout to the installation team—Austin and Armani—and the electrician, Randy. They were exceptional! Friendly, skilled, and worked seamlessly together. They took the time to explain everything in detail, making sure I understood each step of the process.
