Air Rescue Mechanical has been helping us for years, even on busy Sundays. They came to my house in 30 minutes, and fixed my AC in no time. From now on these guys are my first choice for AC repairs.

Air Rescue Mechanical was quick to respond and listen to my concerns about my AC unit. They were able to make the repairs and get our AC up and running very quickly. I would definitely recommend them.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I was assigned to this company by American Home Shield and they never called or showed up. I took off from work a whole day for nothing. When I called AHS, they called the company and was told by the owner the company called and canceled their service orders due to the weather which was a LIE! I called them on the hour from 8-3:30 and they never answered. There's a man on the voicemail that you can barely understand. THIS is not a 4.7 star company. I'm sure they are fudging reviews. STAY AWAY!

No one likes to have AC issues, but, for when it happens you have so many options that leave you confused. I have used a few services in the past for my rental property and NONE have been as wonderful as Air Rescue Mechanical. Jonny cares for his customers deeply, educates them for whats going on and recommends/fixes things to your full satisfaction. I normally don't write reviews and i couldn't resist writing one for this company because of the great experience Jonny provided in fixing my thermostat and AC units. I'll be calling Jonny directly for any future needs. Look no further if you are looking for heating and cooling services!

Johnny/Air Rescue Mechanical was outstanding in helping resolve our A/C problem on a day when temperatures where over 105 degrees. We were desperate for getting the unit fixed and other vendors would not service the unit in a timely manner. Johnny came on the same day, replaced the fan motor in 30 min. and got the unit up & running.

I would strongly recommend Johnny for any A/C repairs.

Johnny diagnosed a problem with my A/C last year when I had home warranty with AHS. They had previously sent out 2 engineers from a different company who had both failed to correct the problem. Johnny diagnosed the problem and fixed it effectively and efficiently. I called Johnny again yesterday with a different A/C problem. He came within a few hours of calling and had fixed the problem within 30 minutes. I rate this company very highly, particularly in view of the excellent response times, and the quality of the work.

My AC went out last night, and after several attempts to find someone to come to my house today; my home warranty company finally find Air Rescue Mechanical. Initially, they said tomorrow, but the technician called me and said he’d come over this afternoon! Thank goodness, because it was 88 degrees in my house! He gave me a 30 minute window to get home and arrived on time. It took him less than 30 minutes to repair and clean my outside AC unit. I now have cool air!! Thank you so much! I will definitely be using this company again!

Every summer we have AC issues, so we have used many contractors. Never have we experienced any AC contractor as fair, honest and responsive as Johnny at Air Rescue Mechanical! No high pressured sales, or unnecessary fixes. So relieved to finally find an AC contractor we can trust! We are customers for life!

I was assigned Air Rescue by my Hone Warranty Company. Usually, those appointments take a few days to schedule, if the company even calls. That was not the case with Air Rescue. He called immediately to triage my issue and then made a same day appointment. He checked my system and felt that Freon was part of the issue but didn’t feel comfortable adding Freon and calling it good. He had another appointment that he had to honor but said he would come back to see if his hunch was right. He returned later and the system still did not meet his expectation. He said because it was late and he felt he was interrupting my family time (7pm,) he would return the next day. Before he did that, he checked the forecasted daily temps. He returned the next day as promised and continued to diagnose the system. He found a pinhole and soldered it but said that he felt something else was wrong. He changed out an inline filter and after a total of 3 or so hours, apologized for not being able to fix it, explaining the system was damaged and needed replacing. He refused to take any money for the Freon not covered by the plan. He contacted the Home Warranty and had a replacement system ready to install within the week!

In the process that I wasn’t aware of what was happening and when, with options regarding cost!! I have not had this type of excellent service in a very long time!!! I HIGHLY recommend Air Rescue A/C.

Ayad from Air Rescue Mechanical did an Excellent job resolving our long standing AC issue. Specifically, our compressor fan could never keep up with summer heat and has died 3 times over the years. Other AC guys have replaced it each time with another crummy fan but same issue persisted. Ayad identified the problem and installed the correct (stronger) fan and now the AC works as it should. He was timely and professional. I would recommend Air Rescue Mechanical and Ayad for AC repairs.

Air rescue mechanical came twice through AHS to fix our A.C. The first time they worked on our outside unit, which they ended up changing and the second time they came to fix the motor of the outside unit.

After my first experience, I requested them the second time because of their prompt schedule and courteous attitude. Johnny with Air Rescue Mechanical is very knowledgeable and goes out of his way to please his customers.

I definitely recommend and will for sure use their services in the future!

Our air conditioner is very old and quit working. He spent the entire day troubleshooting everything and leaving and coming back to get new parts. Definitely would recommend him to anyone!!

Johnny is the ONLY one I want working on our A\C and heating systems! Very professional, knowledgeable, and fast. He came out once because our heat wouldn't come on and immediately knew the cause and replaced the failing part. At a later time our thermostat wouldn't turn the air off (if set to 77 it would continue running to 68 if we didn't stop it). He came out and replaced our thermostat in no time flat: Air Rescue Mechanical ROCKS!

STAY AWAY Use someone else. This company was assigned as part of a home warranty repair call. Was not contacted by the company, only received notice from warranty company of scheduled time being set (9am-4pm) two days later. Technician called 15-20 min prior to arriving. Arrived in a personal vehicle with no company markings, was hard to understand (potential language issues). Upon initial inspection of outside unit he had to call someone to be explained it was a variable speed fan. They never came inside to inspect any of the internal components, and asked me to use his temp sensor inside. Added Freon and replaced a capacitor (Which they left behind for me to dispose of), system appeared to be working better.

Two days later the system is now having the same issue. Re-opened the request with warranty company to have them come back out. After a day of no contact they marked it is unable to contact me and for me to call them. Have attempted to call multiple times with no response, as I can only ever leave a voicemail.

After 4-6 voicemails the company finally called me back. Only to say they have cancelled the request from their end. They are too busy to accept my request. Took no ownership of the fact the issue was not resolve or any of my other concerns.

Worst HVAC company STAY AWAY, misleads customer.
Go with other companies for quick resolution to avoid Texas Heat suffering. I would have given -ve if allowed.

This company was assigned as part of my AHS home warranty.
Johnny came out on July 12th to check my HVAC, a non professional, difficult to identify as a company person (not wearing company cloths nor disclosing company ID).
He did simple checks on outside unit, said condenser is bad and started to do sales pitch to upgrade my unit for $2500.
When I insisted on repairing the unit he said it will take min 2-3 weeks after he sends the report.
He also said AHS will send rebuilt condensers to replace which does not last long. He started preaching $2500 is nothing get new unit.

Johnny sent wrong diagnose report to AHS as non covered costs.
Not sure if Johnny is a certified HVAC technician in the company? If indeed Johnny is a HVAC tech then he is not doing justice for his gained knowledge instead trying to mislead customers.
It's best to stay away from these people or companies which waste customer time and mislead them.

I requested for a second opinion as I was sure Johnny was not qualified/capable to diagnose properly.
The new company came diagnosed the HVAC unit properly, sent report got AHS approval and fixed my HVAC within a 4 days.

AHS could have saved customer time by sending good companies/contractors in first place.

Positive experience. Home warranty sent for A/C repair. Arrived in a timely manor,
found the problem & had the system repaired in less than 48hrs after my call to warranty company . I appreciate the fast repair with the temperature @ 108 outside & the house heating up fast.

Johnny called me at 8 PM and walked me through some simple steps to get my AC back running so I wouldn't have to wait another day in this heat! He was very helpful, patient, and was more interested in getting my AC working than making a service call to bill my home warranty company. I highly recommend Air Rescue Mechanical!!

Service technician came out initially and did not address original issue. Subsequently recalled for same unit upstairs and finally accessed the unit from the attic and discovered the motor was out. Once he came back with motor and installed was rude and disrespectful and I asked him to leave. He then informed my warranty company that recall was not for same unit. He did not listen to my initial or subsequent concerns and as a result was without central air for approximately 3 weeks. If you want polite, timely and accurate service do not call this company! You will regret it especially in over 100 degree temperatures.

My experience with Air rescue mechanical started through my home warranty company. Although at first, my experience was not a very good one I understand in this line of business companies like air rescue mechanical have to hire outside workers/contractors to do some jobs. My review here is really about the owner/operator of air rescue mechanical, Johnny. Although, it was protocol for me to have had to call back to my home warranty company and go through that whole process again with an issue I was having after the replacement of my ac compressor, after calling Johnny on a Sunday, he answered my call and was out the very next day to address the issue himself. He treated me as if I was a customer of Air rescue mechanical and not just a home warranty claim. Thank you Johnny for that!
