Josh at Chimney Star was fabulous. His passion for what he does is evident and the main reason we chose this company for a major repair to our chimney/roof. His concern for my family and our safety meant the world to me. We will use Chinney Star from now on!!!

Mike was so wonderful. Didn’t even charge me because there was some confusion with the office but he still checked on my chimney with a drone and was super helpful. Whenever we do need some help again with a chimney, he’s our guy for sure!

I had a great experience with Tom! He arrived within minutes of the starting time of a 2-hour arrival window (which surprised the heck out of me!), was both friendly and professional, cleaned and inspected my neglected chimney. My house was not occupied for a long time before I bought the place, and the chimney and fireplace alike clearly were never serviced before it went on the market, so he had a LOT to deal with, but he was unfazed by the scope of the job. I'd forgotten to mention I wanted to get a quote for chimney cap! my house is 2 stories tall with crazy metal Roof, Chimney star was able to give me the best price out of 3 different companies. After the successful Chimney sweep and cap installation, I’ve hired Chimney star to install new Gas fireplace and new marble facing for the fireplace and. WOOW I was so pleased with the final result!!!! From the beginning communication was great and the prices were very affordable. Tom clearly knows what he's about and did a fantastic Job.

Roman disassembled the fpl, evaluated all the mechanical and non-mechanical parts, and put a plan in place to repair. This was made more difficult because the mfr was no longer in business and the fpl had to be fully mechanically rebuilt. Parts came in ahead of time and he worked late into the evening to make sure everything was installed properly and checked for safety. We could not have asked for a finer job.

We recently hired Chimney star - Chimney Sweep for a large fireplace & masonry Repair and they did a magnificent job. Our experience with Moses, who sold us the project, and Jessica who worked with us from the office side, was met with patience quality and professionalism.Moses exceeded any expectations that I had. His assistant Jackson was great as well. Both Moses and Jackson respected the covid mask wearing request, as well, and were very professional and clean while working in our home. They left the place so clean when it was all done, too. We had hired Chimney Star in the past for chimney sweep, Dryer Vent and Air Duct cleaning and still continue to use them for that as well. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We had our chimney cover, siding, liner, and fire box repaired as well as replacing our gas log starter. The Chimney Star team was excellent from the initial inspection to scheduling to executing the repair. Wonderful service all around. 10/10 would recommend to a friend.

Had an excellent experience with Abram at Chimney Star. This was the first time to have our chimney cleaned but also needed some repairs. Abram was detailed in how he described both the inspections they would complete but also the steps for the repairs I’d asked for prior to them coming out for the first visit. They did all the initial work quickly and cleanly in the first visit and after custom ordering a part, came back and finished the job the next week. He was courteous, clean and communicated each step and kept me informed. HIGHLY recommend working with Chimney Star and will for all my future cleanings or repairs.

Abraham is Amazing. We bought a new house and for the first time we will use the fireplace. He comes on time, did the maintenance and fixed what need to be done at the same time. He is very professional, walked us through the process of the fireplace maintenance. Showed us how to turn it on and off, fixed the cracks and leaks, quick and efficient. Most importantly he gave us safety tips and answered all our questions. Thank you so much Abraham for your help, will definitely see you for our next scheduled maintenance visit.

Moses absolutely killed it. The prep work he did to keep things neat and tidy was going the extra mile. He walked me through the whole process and made sure I was happy with the end product. Josh did a great job on our Chimney. He's personable, knowledgeable, came when he said he would and cleaned up well. He just finished so right now we haven't tested the fix... but I'm confident it'll be good.

After a consultation, we moved forward with an update to modernize the look of our fireplace. Inner walls spray painted black and replaced fake logs with black glass all over the bottom. He also cleaned the mechanics and the double sided glass. Good communication throughout the process and Roman completed the work in a few hours. Very fair pricing and it looks fantastic!

Mike came by to check my fireplace after a scary carbon monoxide incident. I’m only a month into renting this home, so didn’t know much about it. He explained we were using fake logs when it’s actually meant for real wood burning with a gas log starter. Well, that’s certainly good to know!! He used a drone to check out the chimney condition and explained all the ideal settings to make sure everything is burning safely. Thank you for your expertise and professionalism, Mike!

I had a serious issue with smoke coming back inside my house whenever I used my chimney. It was really worrying me, and two different companies couldn’t figure out what was wrong. But then I found Mike from Chimney Star of Austin.

Mike was amazing! He came out and quickly diagnosed the problem that the other companies had missed. Turns out, the flue wasn’t high enough, and there was a lot of creosote build-up in the chimney. Mike extended the flue and gave the chimney a thorough cleaning, which completely solved the smoke issue.
