I am so pleased with the work Roman did to get my gas fireplace functioning again. He was very pleasant, knowledgeable and professional. I couldn’t be happier with the job. I will definitely use Chimney Star again.

Josh came by and was very attentive. gave special attention to all our questions and concerns. He took care of our fire place; did an excellent job. He explained everything done and even cleaned our fireplace when finished. He assured us we could call him in the future for any further questions/concerns. Thank you Josh!.

Josh with Chimney Star was awesome. He explained the state of my chimney in clear and concise way. He cleaned the chimney and repaired. The cracks in the enclosure and was very thorough. I highly recommend chimney star and ask for Josh to be your technician. You will not be disappointed.

I had put off cleaning my fire place and flue for a couple of years. I contacted Chimney Star and was impressed how fast they were able to schedule me in. Today, their service tech, Josh, arrived and took his time to explain the service I had requested. He allowed me to ask questions and he provided answers and information. He inspected the fire box and flue, showed me what he was seeing and made recommendations.

He took his time to explain both the pros and cons with some of the issues he had discovered.
Josh took his time and did not make mess with the soot and build up and left everything in better shape then when he arrived.

Over all I was very satisfied with Josh and Chimney Star. I will be using them again.

They were able to squeeze me in during a busy holiday season and more importantly, they were incredibly professional throughout the process. My chimney unexpectedly needed servicing and they delivered quickly and expertly. From start to end it was a seamless experience and I’m grateful they were able to help me out at short notice and do such an exemplary job. Would recommend/10.

Just had my dryer vent cleaned by them and I am extremely satisfied. My wife called up a hand full of places and got all sorts of prices and different levels of customer service. She felt that Chimney Star had the right balance of price, knowledge, and customer care. They gave a heads up before heading our way and showed up on time. Throughly inspected everything and proposed a couple of options clearly stating advantages of each. The final decision on the type of cleaning was up to me and he went on to do a great job. My dryer vent was badly clogged which is a huge fired hazard. Now everything is clean and my dryer is working way more efficiently. I will add this maintenance service to my annual list going forward.

I don’t write reviews lightly, but Chimney Star absolutely earned this one. I worked closely with Abraham and Steven, and the difference was obvious from the very first appointment.

Before choosing them, I got quotes from three different companies (we had a chimney fire and wanted to make sure things are done right). Chimney Star was not only the most affordable, they were also the most thorough by a mile. Their initial chimney inspection was the first time I felt like I was getting real information instead of vague contractor talk.

They did a full internal inspection of the flue with a camera, and they documented everything. I received a professional inspection report with clear notes and photos from inside the chimney, so I could actually see what they were seeing. They walked me through the findings step-by-step, explained what was urgent vs. what could wait, and answered questions without getting defensive or rushing the conversation. It felt clinical in the best way like “here are the facts, here are your options.”

They rebuilt the chimney correctly, fixed the crown, replaced the chimney flue, and made sure everything was safe and up to standard. The quality of the repair work was excellent, and what I appreciated most was how organized the scope of work was clear, itemized, and aligned with what the inspection actually showed. No surprise charges, no shifting story halfway through.

They also installed a super modern cannonball gas fireplace, and it completely transformed the space.

And honestly? The cadence of repairs and communication was great compared to other contractor experiences I’ve had recently. Abraham and Steven are the real deal, and I’d hire them again without hesitation.

Abraham came out and professionally explained the issues with my old, crumbling chase cover. He explained my options and provided an estimate. 2.5 days later he completed the work and kept me posted all along the way. Regina helped with booking and communication as well and they are both great. Abraham’s attitude, patience, and ability to explain things to me, then complete the job quickly and with a high level of care should be commended! I used Chimney Star for a chimney cleaning back in 2023. Abraham is great and very knowledgeable, and gave us options of what we could (and couldn’t) do with the fireplace. I was excited to have a fire place as it’s our first home. I called a bunch of chimney sweeps to compare, but Chimney Star had the best customer service and transparency - detailing what they’ll be doing, why, what we can/can’t do with the fireplace, etc.

After a year of having the wood burning fireplace (and maybe possibly abusing it with too hot of fire) I called Chimney Star to convert our prefab wood burning to gas.

He quickly got a quote and gave me some beautiful options for the log designs, and gave me options of the most cost effective ways to make the fireplace into what we wanted (I wanted a lot with very little space and not actually knowing what could be done). Abraham was great about listening and sharing pros/cons. Chimney Star was also great with replacing the chimney chase cover. It was really old and needed to be done. Everything - the chase cover install, to the fireplace conversion - took only a few hours! And now I have a beautiful fireplace.

Greatly appreciate Chimney Star, their customer service, knowledge, and transparent processes. I’m going to be bummed I don’t have to call them every year for a chimney sweep now that we made the switch to gas. But grateful for their services! I recommend them to anyone needing anything chimney/fireplace related.
