Plumbing reviews in Puyallup, Washington

Attended to the pop up ads sat down with us to explain and help delete apps that could be draining the batteries. We inquired about a possible upgrade and spent considerable time informing us of each new feature. Michael wasn’t ready to relinquish his current model.

Nadine, I believe is a dispatcher? She was very professional and communicative. Thank you to Jeremy for his transparency and even showed me how to clean the filter myself. GREAT COMPANY here in Puyallup!! Keep up the great work!

Very pleased with Jordan and Zoom Drain. They showed up and did a quick, efficient job. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. Big Boss man showed up as well in case Jordan needed help. That was nice to see.

Jordan was fantastic! Got us in early. Explained everything clearly. And was unwilling to leave the job partially finished even when the main problem was solved. We really appreciate his, and Zoom's, help with our sewer lines.

We have had multiple issues with our piping system over the last few years & have gone through multiple companies, which some were good & some were bad. I came across Zoom Drain on Google & look through the reviews on yelp. Most of them were 4 and 5 star reviews. Jordan was very knowledgeable & answered all of my questions along my rambling while also being honest. It didn’t take him as long as expected for the job which I was charged for so he took off the original pricing for labor and only charged for the actual amount of time. Along with him giving options & showing that we needed to replace our septic lid before an accident happened and explaining that there are certain things we could do ourselves or prepare for any service we would need from them to help lower our cost, he was very thorough in explaining what would be recommended and why he recommended it. The second half of the job has not been completed yet, but based off of my interaction today if we need any services again I will be continuing with Zoom Drain & hope that Jordan will be someone that would be the familiar face anytime we do. Thank you!

Jeremy from Zoom Drain was our Christmas Eve miracle. We had an after hour emergency & he was able to come to out house first thing in the morning (xmas eve). Our septic tank was overflowing & he was able to pump out & get it in working order. He explained the situation & was able to provide quote for repairs & maintenance. Thank you Jeremy for saving the day!

Jeremy did an awesome job repairing a drain pipe in the crawlspace. He arrived on time, was friendly and professional, and completed the work quickly. The original supports for the pipe were broken, so he carefully secured the pipe to the crawlspace ceiling to ensure it stays in place. He explained everything he did and made sure the repair was done properly. Highly recommend Jeremy!

Jordan was absolutely incredible! I can’t believe that we had two guys from Roto-Rooter claim that our plumbing issue would cost thousands and thousands of dollars! Jordan came, identified the issue, and gave us a fair and honest price. He did it solo, mind you! Hard and lovely worker! Would recommend him to everyone and anyone. He even took the liberty to clean up our mess before he started working on the job. Jordan is the reason why we trust Zoom Drain from here on out and they will be our go to plumbers!

I can't say enough about Zoom Drain. They are came out same day to help figure out what this issue was.
The technician who assisted me was friendly, courteous, and highly professional.
The entire process was smooth, fast, and handled with great customer care. I appreciate the quality of service and would confidently recommend Zoom Drain to anyone in need of reliable plumbing support.
We will be referring and using Zoom Drain for any future needs! -
Drain stopped by roots. 6 feet from c/o to tank. Hydro jetting was offered for 930.00 dollars. The size head on the jetting hose would not pass a fitting. I was told he would be back with a smaller head and get to the roots with 5000 psi and cut them. Then I was told that the smaller head may get stuck in the tank baffle. So for 930.00 dollars I got no benefit. It didn't touch the roots. Maybe a cutter head on an auger would have been a better choice or a follow up. Now I will probably have another backup soon. Not happy. Thanks, Tommy new post... I would like to commend zoom drain for the great response to my post. Jeremy came out and dug up the baffle and cleaned the roots. Thanks and I would recommend them now.

I had a great experience with this company today! Jordan was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. He showed up on time, quickly diagnosed the issue, and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. He worked efficiently and made sure everything was cleaned up before he left. The whole experience was easy and stress-free. I definitely highly recommend Jordan and Zoom Drain if you need a good plumber in the Tacoma area.

They came out within 12 hrs for a non-emergency issue, and Jordan was kind, efficient, and really informative. It turns out our clog didn’t need intervention today; he offered camera for piece of mind if I was worried but let me know that it was totally fine to wait and see if our clog was resolving on its own since our toilet was flushing fine. Since he showed me what to look for to know it needed service, I know I can call back anytime
to get them back out. -
Jordan provided excellent consultation and inspection service to try to determine if drai cleaning services were needed. Very competent, friendly and thorough. While we need to gather more information to determine the cause of our problems, we'll definitely use Zoom if their services are appropriate for our situation.

My first experience with Zoom Drain was about a month ago at my stepmother's house. Zoom Drain responded quickly and took care of her issue promptly. My own septic issue showed up Friday night. I called Zoom Drain Saturday morning, and my technician, Corey, was at my house in less than two hours. Corey quicky figured out the issue and had follow up services scheduled for later that afternoon. Today, Corey showed up early and had the final repairs completed in a few hours. Besides the prompt response, I was impressed by the care and service provided by Corey and the Zoom Drain team. I will definitely use Zoom Drain in the future for any septic needs I have.

I had a clogged drain and Jordan from zoom drains came out the next day and was able to get it unclogged. He was so patient working with the clog. It definitely wasn’t an easy clog but he got the job done. He gave me great tips and tricks to help prevent future clogs and maintain the drains. I will definitely be using Zoom drain in the future.

We just recently moved to Gig Harbor from Maui and now have a home on septic. This is completely new to us but when my husband said the shower is clogged, I know that means it’s beyond our capabilities!! Using yelp , I called ZoomDrain and the very sweet agent put me on hold to contact Jeremy. Came back on the line in minutes to tell me JEREMY would be on his way! He arrived in an hour and immediately got to work. Finding our septic tank was the first issue. Once he dug everything up, he was able to clear the tank. We did find tree roots that need to be removed and will definitely have Jeremy back for that and any other issues we may have. We feel very fortunate to have picked ZoomDrain today! Thank you thank thank you Jeremy!!

This will be the first time I have reviewed a business. My experience with these guys was bad enough that I'd be doing a disservice to other potential customers if I didn't speak up.
I hired Richardson to drill a well for me for an estimated $11,600 for just the drilling and casing to an estimated depth of 96'. Like others have said, communication sucked and the timeline kept slipping, but to me that is sort of the nature of the game these days.
Anyways, they finally got started, and quickly called to say they hadn't found any water after drilling to 96' and wanted authorization to go another 40'. Mind you, the deepest well within probably a mile of my place is 101' (My place is across the street from a lake). So later they call and say they ended up at 135ft, which took this from a 11.5k proposition to somewhere around 16k. That seemed consistent with my luck these days, so I paid them in full, intending to move on. When I made it out to take a look at the well, instead of putting the typical $40 cap over the casing, they did an incredibly bad job welding several rings of well pipe and some plate over the top of the well. There are several holes, which allow contaminants into the aquafer. Seemed strange why they didn't just put a normal cap over it.
They then sent me a well report, and I in turn submitted the report to the County. The County rejected the report, citing insufficient drawdown and recharge data. Richardson said too bad, this is the same as all the reports we do. Said If I paid them another $2k, they would fill the report out for me. I spoke with another driller, neighbors who had recently had wells drilled, and a representative from the County Health Dept. All agree that this is at best poor business practice. WAC 173-160-141 spells out what constitutes a complete well report. What they provided me is lacking information, does not satisfy the County or DOE requirements, and is essentially useless for all intents and purposes.
I had planned (and still plan to) install the pump, etc. myself. I gave Richardson an opportunity to make this right by performing the required drawdown test after I get the pump installed. They were only willing to perform this service (verify 400 gallons/day production, record static water level recovery... should take at most a couple hr) if I paid them an additional $2k.
So, there is my first Google review. I don't feel great about it, but these guys flat out suck to deal with and did not provide what I paid for. I would highly encourage you to find someone else to do your well work. -
Great company.
