Marcos and his team did an excellent job on our landscaping project. They removed the old soil and installed new soil and lawn in both our front and backyard. They also took care of weed removal, pressure washed our patio, did some exterior painting, and built our fence door.

Communication was very easy—Marcos always responded quickly and clearly. Their pricing was competitive, and the quality of the work was great. After the new lawn was installed, Marcos followed up weekly to make sure we were watering correctly. He also came back to check on the lawn again 3–4 weeks after the project was completed.

    Highly recommend!

Had a great experience with MAAC. I hired them to tidy up my front yard and did they. Their work was through, fairly priced and done with great care. I hired them back to do more work and would highly recommend them. Nice work-

MAAC did some yard maintenance and enhancements for me. Ariel and his team are great! The job was done exactly as I asked. Ariel even saved me a few bucks by picking up the garden rocks, garden soil, and mulch I had planned to have delivered. The job was completed on time and on budget. Their prices are very reasonable. I will not hesitate to call Ariel again in the future. He is great to work with!

Great experience when we needed help with an impossibly quick turnaround painting between tenants for our ADU!

Due to wear and tear, we basically had to prep and paint an entire 900 square foot apartment over the course of only a few days, Jess at Community Builder Collective is the ONLY reason we finished on time! She was quick, professional and not only did a fantastic job of both the painting and prep, but also of teaching me how to paint and prep more effectively myself on the parts I was determined to DIY. She was patient and incredibly helpful with any questions we had throughout the process, it was easily the best experience I've had working with a contractor of any kind.

If you're looking for a contractor who is knowledgeable, efficient, capable, respectful of the property and transparent with pricing, look no further. I wish I had thought to take before pictures of the unit because it really was quite the transformation! The new tenants were thrilled with the results, I really can't recommend Community Builder Collective Enough!

Beautiful job with my fence replacement, professional, prompt, finished ahead of schedule and under budget!

They helped me triage a long and disorganized list of handyman and construction work that I was considering doing, drew up estimates for everything, then methodically worked through the prioritized list, which ended up including trim repair, drywall patching, grout repair, and re-hanging a chandelier in a stairwell with a mural. They managed the last without any marking at all on the mural. Communication around costs and arrival/departure times were clear throughout. They also consulted on feasibility/pricing for a few bigger projects that I didn't have the experience to plan out myself. The invoice was detailed, and the people themselves were friendly, helpful, and approachable. I had to put some of my projects on pause earlier this year, but I'm planning to hire them again soon!

It's a great company to work with!

I’m sure JTM Construction is a fine company, but they really need to retrain their employees and let them know they are a direct representation of their company.

The flagger for the project next to the REN towers on Virginia/Minor is one of the most unpleasant and rude workers I have ever encountered.

It’s not appropriate to make derogatory comments about people or their vehicles, and the woman working is awful at her job and plain rude. For a unionized position, they are wasting their money paying someone to harass random people driving by, because she wasn’t paying attention to the road, or directing traffic with large machinery and trucks backing up.

Always a pleasure seeing this community minded organization and their talented team.

The best of the best. The quality of work is impeccable. I’m always amazed at the level of technical difficulty and the ease at which they bring design to reality.

Don’t even contact them- they will ghost you because the work is too hard and then never follow up.

Contracted for a kitchen and bath renovation. Details missed, terrible communication, double time and double money. The owner is a real
hot head. Just an awful all around experience and unlike any others I've had for other work we've gotten done on the house. Buyer beware.

Hired VC for Tenant Improvements of our commercial space. Finished job on time, was very thorough and detailed orientated and left the job site cleaner than they found it. Definitely the happiest I’ve been with any construction/contractor we have hired and would highly recommend them.

I contacted Vertical Construction Group for a bathroom remodel - needed more storage and a new tub installed, so it was a quick job. Stephen helped me out and got it done while I was on vacation - sent pictures so I could see the work before coming back. Very well done, nothing to complain about.

Steve and his team did a bathroom remodel for us in 2012 and did an excellent job. We sustained damage due to a leaking pipe and decided to give the space an overhaul. Steve personally walked me through the remodel as we had to "chase" 100 year old galvanized pipe until we were able to contain the leak. His team was professional and the result was great quality. We sold the house shortly after and the bathroom was a big selling point.
