Colby did the tile work in my primary bathroom. His eye for design resulted in beautiful work! His communication was excellent, he finished the job in a timely manner and was very helpful in all the decisions I needed to make. He has a great balance of confidence and willingness to listen to ideas. And, he's a great problem solver! I would definitely hire him again!

Colby and his team did a phenomenal job. They showed up right on time, stayed on top of everything, and worked with a level of professionalism that really stood out. The quality of their work speaks for itself, and the whole process was smooth from start to finish. I’d absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, skilled, and dependable contractor.

Frustration and disappointment quickly became outrage and utter disgust.

I was in the middle of a remodel project and herniated a couple discs in my back and could not continue. My wife and I asked a reputable realtor friend and she recommended Colby from CLH Construction. He has a very easy going personality we gravitated to quickly and he being young and trying to grow his business, we believed his confidence and enthusiasm regarding our project and very much wanted to help him.
We agreed to terms and after the first week, we identified multiple issues with his poor work not matching the photos, references and instructions we had provided. He assured us he could fix them so we allowed another weeks work. Having viewed our original issues unresolved and a multitude of additional problems, we immediately terminated his employment.

Colby’s inability to remember, write down specificities, or reference provided instructions coupled with an apparent lack of skill set has cost us thousands. Some areas of his poor workmanship and severe lack of detail will now need to be replaced as much of it cannot be repaired properly. Only a handful of photos shown but dozens more available along with receipts of materials/supplies.

1. Glaringly obvious patterned LVP layout in 2nd bedroom when he was specifically instructed to do a random spaced layout to match the rest of the existing flooring
2. EXTREMELY poor joining of crown molding in several locations looking more novice DIY than professional tradesman
3. Poor wood joining on mantle and front door trim-out leaving several exposed lips, gaps or divots when the surfaces should be level and extremely smooth. Also, a MASSIVE 1” gap difference between top and bottom or pocket door trim out.
4. Brad nail “eruptions” not puttied and sanded leaving highly noticeable marks which he then applied the finishing trim paint over. The entire 2nd bedroom base molding is this way and ruined.
5. Paint cut-in locations have thin amounts that don’t match and multiple paint brush color marks on adjoining walls which will need to be repainted again
6. Finish trim paint was applied directly over un-sanded spackle on trim in several locations
7. Overspray on custom built, stained and polyurethaned bench in mudroom (he was instructed that the bench be mounted AFTER painting but ignored instructions)
8. Blatant THEFT - He kept a large number of pieces of trim, casework, braided plumbing lines as well as supplies and tools WE paid for.
9. Damaged the glass cooktop on my brand new $1600 LG oven/range top and left a paper template over it so as not to be noticed. $500 to replace top.

Colby can talk the talk but absolutely cannot walk the walk — Do what you say you can and admit when it’s beyond your skill-set because people don’t like spending their hard earned money on substandard, amateurish workmanship. When the homeowners work looks like a master craftsman did it and it’s not his trade and yours looks DIY at best, you need to seriously reevaluate your business plan.

As an interior designer, Colby and I work together regularly. He's a great communicator, is respectful to clients and their space and always delivers an excellent finished product. It's hard to find craftsman who can who will work on smaller projects, Colby always brings such a can-do attitude - whether it's a full remodel or just some bookcase built-ins, I know he can handle it and it will turn out great!

CLH just custom-designed and installed a beautiful privacy screen for our back deck, and I am thrilled with the result! Our friends are just as impressed when they visit. This new addition not only provides the perfect seclusion for enjoying our hot tub but also seamlessly integrates with the rest of the deck for a cohesive and stylish look. I’m especially impressed with the screen’s stability and the meticulous craftsmanship CLH put into the project. I will definitely hire CLH Construction for our next project and highly recommend them to anyone in need of quality work!

Colby is one of the nicest guys that you will ever meet. As owner of the business you can tell that he cares about his work and wants the client to be happy. Our project became a lot bigger than we expected but Colby made sure that we understood that in order for our new swimspa to be secure on our patio it was important that we poured a new patio that was thicker with rebar. He built a beautiful ramp in the garage so that I could get my scooter or walker easily in to our backyard. He also designed a new concrete ramp going from our house to the backyard. He installed a doggy door and gave our pups the best ramp ever to get in/out of the door. We would not hesitate to hire Colby in the future.

I can’t say enough great things about Cloby and CLH Construction! From start to finish, he, his subcontractors and designer were incredibly flexible and easy to work with, accommodating changes and scheduling needs without hesitation. He showed up when he said they would—every single time—which made the entire process smooth and stress-free.

What truly stands out is the level of craftsmanship. The attention to detail and pride in his work is obvious in every aspect of the finished project. It’s rare to find someone who combines reliability, professionalism, and such exceptional skill.

If you’re looking for a contractor who is punctual, adaptable, and delivers top-quality workmanship, I would absolutely recommend CLH Construction without hesitation.

Great small business that does sealing for new construction. Locally owned and operated with great service and great people. If you're in the market for some sealing services on your new building then Jenco sure is the place to help.

Initially, Scott and his crew (SANCO) remodeled and repaired my bathroom, and because the work was so good and the workers very considerate, I had them replace all my floors, paint all interior walls and remodel the kitchen. Scott cares about what you want and goes above and beyond to meet your requests. I highly recommend SANCO.
