Urban Project Management did a full kitchen remodel for me as well as an office area and bathroom.
They always take the extra time to make sure everything is done perfectly and their design work is unparalleled.
I am super happy with all of the projects we’ve ever done together! -
don't ever use this company Jered Snelson robbed me of $25,000 I gave him the money to do the first phase of my condo all he did was gut it and I never seen him again he told me to give him more money so that he could finish the job because his other job the pipes blew up and he was waiting for the insurance money when come to find out he needed my money to pay for his children's private schooling !!! Don't get caught up with his talk he talks a good game read all the reviews on the other pages google his name and read the companies reviews I'm not the only person he has robbed

I have made a formal complaint with the State of Florida DBPR & Pinellas Consumer Protection. UPM has stopped responding and abandoned work on our project at this point. It's been two months since any work was done. Pretty sure Jered is using money from new projects to fund his management of funds from other projects. I know of one other recent complaint against his license with the Florida DBPR, and another one of Jered's old clients that won a lawsuit against UPM for their faulty work in 2023. Just to give you an idea, our project started in 2021 and was supposed to be done in 1 year. It's been almost 3 years now! We call and text Jered and he has now stopped responding. We don't have a roof on part of our home and this is causing water damage yet Jered is not responding. He's probably going bankrupt and likely will lose his license soon with all these complaints and losing that lawsuit recently.

DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY, OR ANY OF THE OTHER CONTRACTING COMPANIES THAT JERED OWNS!!!
I don't even want to give them one star. This company is a disaster, and Jered is a smooth talker, who cannot be trusted. I am currently suing.
About 3 years ago, I hired Urban Project Managment to do a renovation of an entire house in Clearwater. I had recently retired and was living in Atlanta, so it was going to be a long-distance working relationship. Plan was, once Florida house was ready, I would move, do some cosmetic work to the Georgia house, and then sell the Georgia house. Pictures on the UPM website looked good, reviews were excellent, and they were even recommended by another company I had worked with.
Huge downpayment when Contract was signed - 40%. They came in and gutted the house. Some electrical work got done (by two different electricians), some plumbing was done, there was one excuse after another. A second payment (20%) was requested -- and since all sorts of items had been ordered (appliances, tiles, flooring, windows, doors) it seemed reasonable to send second payment. (I later found out, a number of things had NOT been ordered -- even though I had been told things like, "It should be here in 6-7 weeks." And, a favorite, "It should be here, I will have to check in the warehouse, it may be in there."
After TWO+ YEARS of excuses, I get a phone call. "Have you talked to Jered?" Turns out he closed his business and was on his way to the airport for a 3-week vacation to Europe. He did not even contact me about it, I had to hear from a friend.
After TWO YEARS of promises, Jered left me with a gutted house -- they had not even put up any sheetrock. And, many of the items that I had been led to believe had been ordered -- were not ordered! He claims he is broke. (I'm told he is driving a Maserati and another reviewer mentioned his kids are in private school.)
I had to hire a lawyer and a new Contractor. The new Contract was for more than what UPM had originally bid on the project -- mostly because the new Contractor also had to go back and fix things had been done incorrectly. A portion of the plumbing had to be removed and replaced. The electrical system did not meet the new 2024 Code (because originally, the work should have been completed in 2022 or early 2023). Some of the work done did not pass inspection due to a "structural issue" created by attempted shortcuts. The structural issue required me to go back to the architectural design group to engineer a solution that would be acceptable. Of course, I had to pay for that work to be done. (This caused a 3-week delay, that the new Contractor had to deal with by working on other things in the house out of the planned order.) The new Contractor told me that Jered should have been able to complete my renovation in 6-8 months -- not two+ years, and still barely started.
The new Contractor is on schedule to complete the project in 6 months -- start-to-finish.
I am currently suing UPM and Jered. Jered did not even bother to reply to the Court, so I won by default. However, I do not hold out much hope that I will be able to collect anything from him. He just took my money and walked away.
The damage he has caused me (and others) is unforgiveable, and possibly criminal. Currently, I am out the money I paid to him. (a significant amount.) And, I have been having to maintain two houses -- utilities, taxes, lawncare, etc. -- for three years, which has significantly cut into my retirement savings. (Four years into retirement, I had planned to be settled in Florida and doing some traveling, and had even planned on getting a new car. Unfortunately, I am NOT settled, have NOT sold the GA home, have NOT gone on any trips, and have NOT gotten a new car.
We will see what I can collect from the Civil Fraud case. If he weasels out of paying me (by declaring bankruptcy, or some such thing) -- I will file a Criminal Fraud lawsuit, and Jered could end up losing his Contractor's License, having to pay a hefty fine, and hopefully some time in jail. -
This is my first remodel place is old and ugly condo. They came and did a quick total demolition removed 2 small walls which opened it all up and created this beautiful modern Scandinavian look with modern Bosch appliances. The gray cabinets with white quartz counters are such a good contrast. The flooring helped to bring it all together and painted my whole unit with a beautiful white color .. Jered and his design team and workers brought it all together and did all the plans.. would highly recommend them got lucky with my first remodeling.

We recently purchased a house that had the bones we wanted but needed a few changes to make it our home. We had zero experience doing any professional remodeling and set upon our journey armed only with what we’ve seen in movies and TV shows. We called 4 different companies before settling on UNICCO. From that initial meeting is was simply no question about which company would do the best job for us. It was a pleasant surprise that their pricing was extremely fair in comparison with the other bids we received. Their architectural and engineering experience was a huge benefit getting the right solution and staying within our budget and this is a key differentiator from the other companies that we contacted. Once they were selected, they kept us informed throughout the initial phases including architectural diagrams and permitting before arriving on site to begin the work. Once the physical work began our project manager, Garrett, did a great job keeping us in the loop every step of the way and preparing us for what to expect in the road ahead. Like all projects, issues and challenges arose, but there was never a sense that they were not in complete control of the situation and kept us appraised of changes to the plan or involved us in the decision-making process as needed. Garrett initially targeted the work as a 2-3 month project and then began to refine the date as we progressed. I am happy to report they hit their target on the nose. The craftsmanship was not sacrificed for the sake of meeting a target. The flooring and tile work are exceptional. We can be very picky when it comes to getting things just right and that was simply never a concern with their teams. I am still blown away by the quality of work they did to transform our space. Wtrue are EXTREMELY happy that we chose UNICCO for our renovation and we proudly show off their work whenever we have guests over.

If I could give this company a 100 stars I would. They were excellent communicators and made our first remodel so easy and stress free. They were able to bring our dream kitchen to life and it is even better than we could imagine. I would recommend this company to anyone! We will definitely be using them again for any and all of our future remodel and construction needs.

We are selling an old home and needed some upgrading and electrical issues, plumbing, woodwork replaced outside the house. Garrett and his crew were
very efficient and did they work in less time then proposed. They were sensitive to the timeline as we are trying to sell the house. It was a pleasure to deal with them as they are friendly and yet focused on what they were doing. Clearly they are experts in their own fields. They completed everything they said they were going to do as per our contract. I am happy to refer their services! -
I did a complete Kitchen remodel from ceiling to floor including a wall removal, new cabinets, countertops, appliances, sink and fixtures, popcorn removal and new flooring throughout the now open floor plan space. The guys were always on time and very respectful. They cleaned up every night before they left. Garrett and the whole team orchestrated the whole process without flaw. I was given choices throughout the remodel so I ended up with exactly what I wanted and they prepared me for each step along the way. The owner even came out multiple times to make sure everything was perfect. It was a big multifaceted project but they were done from start to finish in about 3 weeks! Pretty amazing. I can’t recommend them enough!

Unicco did an amazing job with our home remodel. They were on time and within budget, which resulted in a stress free process. I will definitely be using them for all my home renovation needs in the future and will be recommending them to anyone who has a project coming up.

Unicco Construction is amazing! We had a tight deadline to remodel a bathroom and they finished a day early! It looks gorgeous and everyone on their team is super professional. The contractors were clean and very nice. I would highly recommend them for any project! Perfection!

Our master bedroom had received water damage from the hurricanes, but Nils and his team were able to completely restore the room in less than a week. Dry wall, floors, baseboards and texture/paint. Highly recommend!

So excited to be livin in our beautiful new kitchen!
Many thanks to Nils and Garrett and the fantastic team of pros at Unicco.
It was such a pleasure to work with a team who arrived on time, completed the work as agreed and did it with such fine quality.
For me, this remodel challenged my creativity and at times, my patience. Nils and Garrett were with me every step of the way and their guidance and design input made all the difference.
We couldn’t be happier with the end result and are ready to work with Unicco on our next project!! -
Unicco did a beautiful job on my bathroom remodel. Everyone was easy to work with, friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. Nils in particular was very helpful and made the entire project go as smoothly as possible. I am fairly new to large renovation projects and came armed with lots of questions, but Nils was able to put my mind at ease. The entire crew showed great attention to detail and made sure to leave the house clean upon completion of the project. I would highly recommend Unicco and I will be using them again on additional projects.

Customer review on my newly built home completed in July of 2021. This was my first build and working with Unicco Construction made it all worth while. I'm still soaking it all in and marveling the quality of workmanship, professionalism, and tireless advise given to me. From the VP (Nils), to their project managers and sub contractors used, it made the build go seamlessly. Everyone from family, friends, and acquantatives who have seen it, rave about the quality and choices selected on everything. Unicco gave me the flexibility to many options through allowances to choose and or upgrade many things for my home. Of course with any build there's going to be some minor hiccups due to scheduling delays and some rework of things along the way. However, overall I felt as though Unicco did a great job during troubled times, to make themselves available. I'm one of their first few homes
built and they will continue to grow with much success along the way. Thank you for such an amazing dream home.. -
Very good very nice
