I have been using Welch climate for a number of years now and have always impressed by the service. The technical knowledge and troubleshooting that Corey has is fantastic. He's always worked to repair and maintain our AC and furnace instead of trying to sell us new equipment. Recently he replaced the blower fan motor on our furnace. Best HVAC I've ever used. He's always been there the same day when we've had issues, even when it's been non emergency trouble work.

Hell was not fun last night but Corey Welch of Welch Climate Technologies, LLC got me right.

He was before time, professional, completely honest about what I needed, went right to it and had me up and running in less than an hour. Talk about a great black experience.

I live in California and own several properties to which I rent out. I contacted this company via text to “look” at my air conditioner unit because my tenant said there was something wrong with it. I wanted an estimate to compare the pricing with other companies before I made a decision. I and my son in law asked him if he was affiliated with my home warranty company and he said “Yes” Instead of “looking” at it, he went ahead without my knowledge or permission and fixed it and charged me. I only wanted an estimate. I do not recommend this company at all. I have proof via my text messages with him and he told me he didn’t get the chance to read my request. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. I WAS SCAMMED.

Corey came out yesterday 6/17/2025 and installed a new ac unit. He was very professional! He walked me through how to use my equipment. He gave tips and tricks ro keep an ac running efficiently. He answered many many questions and finished his work in a timely manner. His pricing is affordable and fair I would recommend him over the big guys any day!

Aire Serv of Carmel installed a heat pump at my property in July of 2025. American home shield connected me with this company after filling out a service ticket.

Since then, they have had to come out 3 more times due to the unit not working. Note that every time the company has required me to go back to American home shield and fill out a new service request ticket which costs me money every time they need to come fix their own work. This caused me to spend multiple nights in sub freezing temperatures since the work was not completed correctly.

My unit is now not cooling the home and I am quite frankly done with the service. I reached out to the company in the hope that I would receive the professional courtesy of wanting to come out to rectify their own mistakes, but instead I was directed to go through American home shield again to pay yet another service fee. It is quite astonishing that a company can continue to see mistakes in their work, but take zero responsibility.

I will be reaching out to a different contractor to come and clean up their mistakes.
