I needed lens covers for under cabinet lighting to replace a few that broke. I tried to find them everywhere with no luck. Finally called Platt and they had the product. Not only that, but the customer service was top notch. I wont go back to big box store when I have an electrical or lighting need. These guys are great!

3 stars. Only because I was so confused at what I experienced I came back, only to experienced the same issue with the same employee (I returned with catalog item page on phone for ultimate clarity) AND finally a hardworking gentlemen freed up and came to assist the other employee in helping me.
I'm not sure why the 1st employee was giving me such a hard time locating a simple part but I'm still sore enough about the experience to write this review.
Reading other poor reviews I see Platt only takes these serious if given in person. When I have time to do so, or can't get a part elsewhere I will certainly swing by and share. Partly out of curiosity. I'm a solid communicator and polite, and doubt I'll ever figure out what I did wrong to relieve such horrible service. **I'd say most of the folks working are helpful and great. Talking to coworkers it seems there's one who is notoriously difficult. I can tell this person has been there a while, so doubt I'm the first and doubt anything will change.

Very good place to buy all 3 phase or single phase related electric materials, but I can also find anything for home or work site in one place,

Luis was so easy to work with and made sure I had exactly what I wanted and needed before leaving. No chance of missing anything with him. Pleasant guy too!

Needed some 4-8 cable. They had some and even cut it to my desired lengths. Great place for the electrical worker to go for tools and supplies.

Came here to pick up some tools for work and was super impressed with the overall value of coming to Platt. They don’t carry any generic brands and everything was of a very high quality! They’ve made a permanent customer out of me!

Personally, I like to hit up the will call window at the beaverton distribution center which is open until 530 everyday, but the stores are a good place to go if you don’t like close to the DC.

Called and spoke to Rich to ask what size/gauge extension cord I should use to run 50ft to my diesel truck block heater.

“We don’t give advise you need to call someone else, but I’ll sale it to you when you find out”.

If you can’t or are unwilling to give the most basic advice to someone who clearly cares about electrical safety then you are of no use nor would I come back to buy something from you.
