I am an HVAC contractor and just did work with Garner Electric. They were amazing to work with. Thank you Chuck & Elizabeth!

Great work done by great people who care. Very happy to work with this company. Even with a busy work schedule, they were able to meet the needs for remodeling and repairs for us as well. Appreciative of their professionalism and customer service. Great Job and Thank you!

Garner Electric in Redmond, Oregon is the best. I have used them multiple times now, and they are always on time, courteous, and do a great job. Garner Electric will always be my go to for electrical services. I would recommend to anyone needing electrical service.

We used Garner electric through our home warranty. Initially our issue was several outlets that stopped working, and they put us on the schedule for two weeks out, which was not ideal. However, when our problem escalated to sparking from a junction box, Garner came out same day within a few hours. The electrician found the problem was much more complicated than we anticipated, but he stuck with it until he identified several issues. He essentially rewired a large part of our basement. We had just brought our newborn baby home the week before, and the fact that Gardner made our home safe for him meant the world to us!! I would give you 10 stars if I could!!

Garner Electric did all the electrical for a new home I had built. They wired 4 rooms together on the same arc fault circuit breaker. The breaker tripped once a few months after and I shrugged it off as a fluke. I bought a desktop PC about 14 months after the house was built and it continuously trips the breaker. I called to ask if they could take a look and they told me it would be $300 minimum to come take a look at it because I discovered the issue a few months after their "1 year warranty".

They also do not install cat6, installed unmarked cables for my garage door opener so I had to guess and check and installed cat5e at 80 per loose cable in the wall without terminating them. Not huge complaints but things that should change if they want to be 5 stars.

Garner bid on my project, we did not use them. However, they opened a permit for the project, which prevented me from passing final inspection because I had an open permit. Who opens a permit on a job they're not hired on? Delayed my project's completion by a week.

Garner Electric is a great company. They provided quick and efficient services. They were able to install speaker wire in my new home no problems at all. I'd highly recommend them to anybody looking for electrical work.

Not overly impressed. I hired them to do three different things, one was accomplished, the price was completely different than what I was told on the phone. The technician said he would need to give the information to the estimator for the other two jobs. I signed the bill electronically and gave him a check. Asked for a copy of the receipt for my records, via e-mail. No receipt, no estimate after a week. I called and was treated rather "coldly" and pretty much told that the pricing was accurate. I don't agree. Probably won't do business with them again.

The best electrician out there. As a principal broker I have worked with contractors in every trade out there. I can say without a doubt that Garner Electric is the most professional, fast, honest and skilled electrician in the book. I used them personally to wire my own custom home and I highly recommend them for any residential or commercial project you have. They are the best.

I haven't technically even had work complete by them and I still feel the need to write a review. I will update when (if) the work gets completed.

I am going through a home warranty company so it may also be different, but I submitted a service request in September. I guess this was right before a large employee walk out because I didn't get a call back for weeks. I call, leave my information, they say they'll get back to me and never do. They have never once called me back except to "get down my information". They admitted to me in October they had a large employee walk out and my technician was one who left. They admitted to me in November that they completely lost my file. It is December now and no work has been done at all. Between Garner Electric and my home warranty company, I have been doing all the leg work when it comes to calling and checking in and seeing where I am at, which no one ever really seems to know. They also have the most pretentious, aggravating hold line that boasts "we have some of the same employees that started with us in the beginning" which is a lie. It goes on to say how it's hard to find people to work these days because kids are playing video games and don't work with their hand anymore. It makes the time I'm on hold aggravating and does not improve the already poor circumstances. I will say, everyone I talk to on the phone has been nice, and I understand it isn't their fault a bunch of people walked out. Don't punish those who stay.

Regardless, I hope their work is quality or this will have been a large waste of time for everyone.

Update. They came out and worked on my house. Jacob was my electrician and he was very kind and knowledgeable. He did good work and kept me informed the whole time. I'm sad it took this long (again, not sure if it was Garner Electric or my warranty company) but I am pleased with the work.

We've used Garner before and their work was just as amazing the second time as it was during the first project. They were on time, quick with their work, and super friendly and professional while they were here. I especially love listening to the lead electrician teaching or guiding their apprentice; it's a critical trade and I love seeing the teaching process.

So why am I leaving a review for this second project? Today, as our work was winding down, a neighbor set their yard on fire. We saw billowing smoke and suddenly heard a guy yelling for help. Well, one of our electricians was just going out to the van, saw/heard what was happening, and raced over in his respirator to see if he could do anything to help. And I mean he sprinted, not like, casually jogged. Once he'd made sure there was no immediate reason for him to be at the fire, he stayed in the road and made sure that the fire truck got directed around the corner to the right location.

So, if you want stellar electrical work with a sprinkle of good Samaritan, 10/10 recommend.

Our company hired Garner Electric for a new build. We were impressed by their honesty and professionalism, and look forward to working with them again future projects.

We had a light switch that quit working. They refused to give an estimate over the phone. Then we get the invoice. $320 for a 5 minute visit to replace a light switch, which included a $20 fuel fee. We will never use them again. WHAT A RIP OFF.

"RK Electric provided an outstanding experience from start to finish. Our architect has been great, and the team in the office was so helpful throughout the process. The crew handled everything related to the residential electrical box for our hot tub flawlessly. From the detailed bid to scheduling a convenient time, they made sure every step was done to code and executed perfectly. The electricians clearly explained what they were doing and cleaned up thoroughly afterward. I also appreciated the convenience of the square mobile pad for easy credit card payment. They even scheduled the final inspection with the county around my availability. This was my first time using RK Electric, and it definitely won’t be the last."

Whoever answers the phone is extremely rude, unprofessional, and impatient. I was deeply offended by the remarks that were made. I will never use this company. Professionalism and courtesy goes a long way!

The comment below shows their unprofessionalism! I am in no way connected to any telemarketers and I am a man, but thank you for that unnecessary story.

Rob came out to estimate the job. He did not listen to me and sent a guys out to do 2 of the 3 things he was asked to fix. I then called Rob and let him know that he forgot one thing he just said he would pull his guy out instead of fixing anything. Our house is now left in a mess because he has cut the walls up. Apparently Rob has a communication problem and would rather loose our money rather than admit it.

I am going to have to post date this review to 12-15-2015. Gerald was dispatched to my newly purchased home to trouble shoot an electrical issue I had with a Heat and Glow Gas (IPB; electric ignition) fireplace.
The previous home owners were very much a DIY kind of extended family. I was not sure this gas fireplace was safe to use.
Gerald came out and spent an hour, located an inappropriate DIY electrical connection, causing electricity to intermittently flow to the appliance; and fixed the problem straight away.
Gerald was an absolute delight to meet.He was such a professional and ran the problem to ground quickly and was on his way.
This is a company I will definitely use in the future.
