They don’t have a clue what they’re doing. We ordered a faucet, then delivery day are told that it’s discontinued and then told no wait it isn’t. We are still without water in our kitchen waiting to receive a faucet.

Tim and Ronnie that work the counter at the downtown Jessamine location are incredibly helpful. They always have what we need at a great price. The selection of plumbing parts, showers, tubs, toilets, fixtures, etc is second to none in town.

I called to see if they had stand up showers in stock that did not have a bathtub . They said yes and they started at $250 and had a few of the ones for $250. I took my 80 year old grandmother down to the showroom . We told the salesman wen would be there within the hour. We arrived and waited 20 minutes in the showroom and no one came . So I called their main number and the receptionists paged for a slea man to the showroom... Again we waited and waited another 15 minutes. I called again and explained that we had waited a hour and no one had showed up .Finally Justin Ward arrives and I explain that we had called earlier and talked with Tim and that he had told us about the showers and that they were $250.00 . Of course Tim never did show up . Justin proceed to tell us that he had misinformed us. That the shower we need to replace the tub/shower combo was going to cost $500.00 . He informed us that the Sevierville store would ship the shower and it would be here in 8 days ... I reiterated that the cost was $500.00 including tax and no cost for the transfer. Justin assured us know that was all. So 8 days later I call to make arrangements to pick the shower up . Well Justin said he would call me back . 4 hours went by so I finally called back to find out that they had sold the shower out from under us . That it would be until the end of May before we could have it . That's a month after we placed our order. So I go to pick up the shower today and I bring $500.00 and that's not the price . Now we are adding taxes even though we were told the opposite . So we were Lied to 2. Word of mouth is the best advertisement. Believe me I'm in the retail business and I'll be sure to share the horrible experience. When asked to speak to the manager I was referred to Justin and the counter gentleman was going to insult my intelligence and tell me : everyone plays taxes . Yes they do but not after you've clarified that upfront. Of course I never did get to talk to the manager .

My wife and I had an extremely poor experience with Gray-Hodges. One that I thought should be told. Our salesperson talked more than he listened every time we met with him. He made numerous mistakes on our design. He left our design until the last minute before meeting with us. He was disorganized. He needed the same information given to him more than once. After the bid was finished, I asked for a number of items be removed to reduce the price. The new bid was only $288 less! I sent an email requesting too speak to his supervisor...nothing! I heard (through the grapevine,) he may have left the company. No surprise. But then I never heard back from anyone at GH. So all his jobs just disappeared? No follow up. The final demonstration of the poor customer service, was when I sent an email on their main web site explaining I was unhappy, and requesting another designer be assigned. NOTHING! I'm still waiting on that call. (Of course, it's too late to remedy the situation now.). If this is your idea of professional customer service (when spending potentially $20k or more) than use them. But, buyer beware!

Solid. Good price. You can bring in the most random things relating to plumbing and they will have an idea how to replace it if not the part itself.
They have a nice showroom for finish products and good help.

Called Winkler for multiple small repairs well over a month ago. They came out and told me 1: my shower wasn't leaking(it is), 2: My bathroom faucet is broken (why did I call a plumber to fix it?) And 3: I need to buy a filter for my house as I'm on a well. I told them I wanted a filter prior to them coming out but they failed to tell me I needed to go buy one to install. They charged me $135.00 for a service call and told me they would come back. The ONLY thing they did when they were there was caulk a pedistal sink to the wall that needs to be mounted. Seeing as I have two small children that fix won't work. They have scheduled to come out twice a week for more than a month and don't call to cancel or show up. My son and I both have missed work to wait for the elusive plumber. I have never left a bad review anywhere but feel that if I can save anyone else the hassle it's worth it!

Brandon and Jon were very professional. They were able to fix an old and difficult faucet that another company could not. Their pricing is very reasonable, and their work was excellent.

Had a bad odor coming from the bathroom and so we decided to give this place a call. They came out and replaced two things that only cost about $30 max and proceeded to charge us $400 for the service. Despite reassuring us whatever they did would fix the smell, that definitely wasn’t the case. When we called a day later we were told that they would call us back but it’s been 2 days and so far nothing. If I could leave 0 stars I would.

I called Winkles after getting rescheluded by another company for repairs and decided to try Winkles , they sent me Aaron and he was on time that same day and he did an outstanding job. I highly recommend Winkles good value for you money. Honest plumbers are are to find .

Came to my place quickly and was very helpful and pleasant and kind. Fixed the problem and left every ting in order. Even helped my neighbor. Done a great job. Thank you so very much Jonathan. Wonderful young man.

Our water heater went out and it was a struggle trying to find someone to replace it the same day. I googled Winkle's and was told to expect someone within the hour. Jon and Brandon came out to give a quote and came back a few hours later to install the new water heater. Both guys were friendly and did a great job. Highly recommend!

They did good on my shower install and was reasonable compared to other places.
But there was a package we wanted to keep and told them. Guess they took it with clean up and still have not been able to get it back. Had an appt for them to come look at my kitchen sink and they didn’t show up and I tried to call and voicemail was full. Would have been at least courteous to let a client know if you wouldn’t make it to the appt. We need our sink and I postponed everything on hopes they was coming.

Brandon and Jon came today to repair burst pipeThey answered all my questions and explained everything in detail to me.I know how crazy busy they are right now since the freeze and snow we arent used to here and all the burst pipes everywhere but they they did a fantastic job and the price was reasonable too and even acknowledged my cat with some pets.That totally scored customer service points with me!! I will definitely recommend Winkles Plumbing and will use them again for sure.Thank you soo much! Signed Very happy customer 😀

Shane is an extremely professional and trustworthy business owner. He has done work for me multiple times and just completed some work for my parents. He is prompt and very fair priced. I would recommend his company to anyone needing plumbing work completed!! Thank you very much Winkles Plumbing!!

I am the community manager at 414 Flats. John has been wonderful to work with. He is prompt, clean, and very professional. Pricing is always reasonable and I love that there is a warranty on the work completed. There are times I don't fully understand the scope of work that needs completed due to the type of building we have and he is great about making sure I understand and helps me become more knowledgeable about the building and preventative measure needed. I really appreciate him and all the help he has been to our community.

Dillon and Lucas arrived and immediately began working to find our leak. They had to demo the shower and found a copper pipe that had frozen and leaked. They hauled out the old shower, fixed the pipe and cleaned up the mess. They did an excellent job and I highly recommend them. I'm SO happy they took care of our plumbing problem!

Replaced water line from the street to the house. Very neat, patient and thorough.

Excellent service and professionalism by Jonathan today with installation/replacing new faucets and toilet repair. His work was great and he cleaned up the areas very good. They have been great to come as promised and on time. Thanks for the good job.
