We had issues with the HVAC during the winter and a handy family member troubleshooted the issue (buying parts, watching tutorials, etc.) and after a few weeks of suffering in the cold -- fixed the issue! Come summer, the AC was now not working and after a month of troubleshooting in the heat, the issue could just not be resolved. During the heatwave (temps reaching over 100!), I finally went on Yelp and after reading through the reviews, settled on Exclusive HVAC. (Fingers crossed!) Patrick returned my inquiries immediately and patiently listened to the issues with our AC. He informed me of the initial service charge for a site visit and we scheduled an appointment for the next day. I immediately received a confirmation text and another text 10 min before the appointment, letting me know Phillip was on his way! Phillip was prompt, polite, cool and just a great human being.

Phillip checked everything out, sharing his observations every step of the way. Fortunately, it was a quick fix and the AC was back up and running!!! He shared the findings from the diagnostic readings and gave his opinion that the reading wasn't great (it's an old AC), but that I could still potentially get 5 more years? He casually went through the different options, what he would do if he were in my situation, etc. At no point during this process did I feel pressured to fix anything or buy anything or replace anything. (Though he did paint a picture of what I might expect in the future with the AC.)

Since Phillip was able to fix the issue during the service call, no extra charges were added. I just received the invoice for the initial service charge and I could not be more grateful.

I will most definitely be reaching out to Exclusive HVAC as soon as there are any more issues. I'm just so thrilled to find a knowledgeable and experienced technician that I know I can trust for the future. Highly HIGHLY recommend!!

Service was excellent. They were able to come out for a service call to get our air conditioner fixed when the temps in the high desert were over 102°. They were able to quickly diagnose the problem, provide a cost for service and afterward quickly repair the broken component. The Technician was friendly and very knowledgeable. We will be using them in the future for all our heating and air conditioning needs. Thanks for coming out and helping us out!

Great service and fast!

I contacted Exclusive HVAC through Yelp just after 5 p.m. on a Friday. My air conditioner was fixed before 1 p.m. the next day.

The owner, Patrick, arrived during my four hour appointment window. He was very courteous both through Yelp and in person.

After climbing on the roof and determining the issue, he gave me a repair price and also a price to replace the whole, almost forty-year-old, unit. The prices were very reasonable compared to other companies I had asked for a rough estimate. He didn’t pressure me to choose the more expensive option at all.

I chose to repair and the air conditioner was up and working less than ten minutes later because he had the two replacement parts already in his truck. Patrick even installed a clean filter in our house, with the filter we had on hand, as a courtesy before he left.

Overall, I highly recommend Exclusive HVAC. They are a small local company that provides quick and efficient service at a fair cost.

Technician Phillip was very helpful. He explained everything he was checking on the central heating. Very courtesy, got the job done in a timely manner.

I’ve now used Northstar for a mini split and a full unit replacement and they are excellent. You won’t find better customer service or price anywhere.

I had a 25 year old AC system that was original to the house and it wasn't cooling anymore. Called up Sean from Northstar on a recommendation who was able to put in a brand new AC unit and air handler a week later. Great price, completed the job with in a day, and excellent communication.

I want to highly recommend Northstar Heating & Air, LLC to anyone who needs HVAC repair, electric or gas, or a new installation or maintenance. Sean, the owner & operator is not only skilled and able to handle any job, he is personable, goes the extra mile, has a service fee that I think is fantastic compared to other companies.
