I was recommended this company by a friend and I am so glad I used them. They came out right away and looked at our AC, told us the problem and were able to schedule us before the heatwave came! They also looked at our furnace, since that was super old as well and we were able to save money by replacing both at the same time. They were very professional and worked quickly. I will definitely be recommending them to anyone who needs this work done!

Very responsive & dependable. Had 2 furnaces simultaneously installed in my home on same day. The 2 technicians were very efficient. They were very tidy. They had covered their entire indoor walkway area and stairs with canvas tarps, hauled away both units and swept up everything including the driveway. They had also previously installed an AC unit a few years ago in my prior home, and also did a great job.
They will also soon be installing a new furnace and AC unit, new ducting etc, this spring in another property of mine.

I was lucky enough to find TDH about 11 years ago. I bid them against two other contractors for an air conditioner & furnace purchase. I knew nothing about either. I was nervous about not getting what I needed. Also I wanted to max out rebates any where possible.

Tim H came and assessed what I needed. He educated me about what I needed and why. Laid out my options with products. Tim helped me max out the advantages of my rebates. I went with Rheem.

Most importantly over the past 11 years TDH has provided superior service to support these products. The people you call are always fantastic. The service guys that show up are always nice, humorous and helpful.

Even after the proposals were done and on the day of installation Jose ensured that my infrastructure supported the system I ordered and worked around my initial proposal..
For the installation, Jose and Andreas did an excellent job on installing both my Furnace and AC. Showed me that the system is working as expected. They cleaned every thing like it was before, ensured that I get all the paperwork to register my product.

We highly recommend TDH! Tim and his crew provided the best service. Our heater/AC combo unit broke and Tim responded to our email via a call the following morning. He promptly came by to take a look at the unit and provided us a quote. He stated his company had the unit in stock and would be able to replace it the next morning. His crew came out the next morning on time and was very professional. They made sure everything was cleaned up once the job was completed. They were very efficient and replaced the unit in less than 5 hours. Now we have heat and we have a brand new unit that will last us a long time! Thank you TDH for a great experience!

Working with TDH Mechanical, Heating and Cooling was one of the best experiences I have had working with a contactor. They were quick to respond, provided me with a great price and excellent customer service. The service technicians that installed our new furnace and water heater were friendly, knowledgeable, put down tarps over the areas of flooring they needed to walk on and did a great job cleaning up after they were finished. We also received a call the day after our installation from someone that was just checking in to make sure everything was working properly and to see if we had any questions. I will definitely be referring them to the next person that asks me if I know of a good HVAC company.

Jose was a great technician. He came in at the promised time and did a fantastic job. Before replacing my old furnace with the new Trane model, he cleaned up the space, paid attention to small details - like the way my old PVC pipes were draining from AC unit, and replaced it with new and made the whole area much better to use and helped ensure that for the maintenance of the furnace, water heater and my humidifier all can be accessed easily . Jose thank you for your excellent service and the professional approach. I would strongly recommend TDH to anyone who asks me. I highly recommend TDH Mechanical. They replaced my old furnace, A/C, and water heater, adding a humidifier and smart thermostat. Tim the owner, came to evaluate my needs and explained what he was recommending. He never tried to sell me on anything above what was best suited for my townhome. The price was fair and reasonable. He even takes care of any applicable rebates for you, and builds that into the final price. His excellent crew was prompt and professional, removing old equipment and installing new in. Before they left, they made sure I knew how everything worked. I’m really happy with the new quality equipment, and with the first-rate service I received from everyone at TDH Mechanical.

TDH folks are great and pros in the HVAC services they offer. Rolando was great, he came and serviced our AC condenser unit, and also addressed the inducer motor sound issues in the furnace unit, and their back office scheduled a follow up visit to replace the part. My experience with their team has been positive and I recommend that you try them as well.

Phone access to the owner. Same day estimate. Fair pricing (I had other estimates, theirs was significantly lower). None of the over-selling pressure so common in HVAC. No deposit required, perhaps because I'd used them for a similar job 13 years earlier in a different home. Easy scheduling for install of A/C. Early arrival. All requests met or exceeded. Safety inspection of furnace which did not need replacement. Great at handling my questions. New A/C worked correctly the first time. Actually a pleasant experience. Paid securely by credit card at the end of the job. Tim (owner), Wally (estimator and lead installer), Jesus, Reuben, and Jackie (scheduling) know what they are doing and treated us with respect and good humor. TDH Mechanical, Inc people are first class in every way.

Absolute professionals! TDH went out of there way to take care of us when our furnace died in the dead of winter. Reasonably priced and very knowledgeable technicians. Wally was terrific, answered all my questions and left everything nice and clean. Highly recommend!!

Jorge and Cesar were as professional as they come. I appreciated that they explained what they were doing as they went through each step replacing the boiler in my home. They provided answers to all my questions and were able to remove my old boiler, install the new one, and get all the radiators bled and working all in one day! Exceptional service. TDH + Rolando did EXCELLENT work, we saved hundreds vs the competition on the exact same air conditioner. We got screwed at the end of last year by a tech from a company that seemed good. Read tons of reviews and ended up choosing TDH on their reputation, they also happened to be the most competitive company with a name brand unit. Ronaldo showed up early and handled the install like a pro. I wouldn't hesitate to call these guys with any future issues or installs.

TDH Mechanical installed a tankless water heater today. It was a big job (they had to remove two old heaters and an old water softener system), but they did it, and it works great! As with the prior job that I hired them for (furnace, etc.) they cleaned up when they finished.

TDH Mechanical did a fantastic job installing a new furnace, AC unit, whole house humidifier and Nest thermostat. They also cleaned all the ducts.

Their price was more than reasonable, in fact it came in below other quotes.. those other quotes that had inferior equipment.

They arrived on time, got the job done exactly as promised, and cleaned up before they left.

We selected TDH Mechanical for our Multi-Unit Apartment Building in Aurora,IL after careful and methodical evaluation of 6 other Boiler HVAC Experts. Each of them evaluated our situation in detail just as TDH Mechanical did and proposed a solution/price. We selected TDH Mechanical for many reasons, and wanted to share with you in this open feedback/review forum. And yes, we read all of the reviews / feedback from all sources, and of course, and TDH Mechanical has a huge list of happy and satisfied customers, and here we are adding one strong one to his huge list.

Based on our detailed set of questions regarding the installation, Tim personally got the Boiler installation expert to visit the site to answer all our specific questions, pipe-replacement-detail and that discussion instilled huge amount of confidence in us. Tim, also allowed us to clarify some of the matters via email to ensure full clarity of the proposed Boiler solution. We had a huge variation of answers from various HVAC experts including some out of the box, and completely out of bounds in terms of prices.

Tim's team kept is simple, relevant, and proposed the best and most simplistic answer that would meet our specific requirements. Tim's style of management is instilled in his people from a work ethic, honesty & integrity, exact date of start as promised, timely show at the job site, no waste of time during the work-day, and timely finish without rushing.

Post,Covid in 11/2022, it is rare to find these ethics in companies especially for a job of this size. The simple high confidence message and low tone that Tim portrayed on the phone, without any pressure to make decision made this a Win-Win for us. His team did an absolute perfect job with the Boiler installation, with no compromises, or short-cuts, relayed all the instructions required for on-going maintenance, and put in the best value-based-competitive solution (not the lowest price), with a perfect show of customizing to our specific requirements.

Our completely independent with no relations with anyone at TDH until this transaction, we can clearly say that TDH Mechanical wins our hearts and made us a referencable customer for life with this 1st job that we gave him, there will be many more to follow.

I have used TDH in the past with better results. A tech came out as my AC units were not working. The tech was at my home for 3 hours. He was able to fix the first one by putting in a new capacitor. He put a capacitor in the second one but it still wasn't working, so he changed another part and it still wasn't working, and then he said the issue was the thermostat and fixed something else and he said it was fixed. He spent about 15 minutes writing up the bill and I told him it was only blowing hot air, he started fixing it again and then told me after 3 hours of working on it that it was broken and I needed a new compressor which is a $1500 issue and told me I need a new unit. I called TDH and explained that this tech was not knowledgeable and did not leave me confident. I was sent a new tech, Mark two days later who spent 40 minutes in my home and got the unit working. Although the unit is 15 yrs old it still has some life left. There shouldn't be such differences in techs especially when discussing a $5000 unit. I am disappointed with this interaction and the waste of my time. I understand that troubleshooting is sometimes necessary but I truly believe the first tech was not skilled. I ended paying the charge, but don't feel like the company addressed this as a problem. I won't use them again.

Leon did detailed check and cleaned the burner sensor which led to the strange sound when furnace running. He then tested the furnace twice to make sure the fix worked before leaving.

TDH Mechanical replaced my hvac system. I was very pleased with the quality of the work and professional manner of the tradesmen. I have a background in industry, large equipment repair, building and plumbing. I know when work is quality or crap. These men were great they care about the quality of the install they feel responsible and their name is on that install. Its more than a job its who they are. If you are in need of hvac replacement these people are a safe choice.
