Ideal came out and installed a foyer light for me. When I called I explained that there was also and issue with the breaker tripping and possibly an issue with the switches. They hung the light and replaced a switch. A couple days later, on a Saturday, I was woken up by my security system due to a loss of power. The breaker had tripped again and half of my main floor was without power. I left a message for Ideal relating my issue. They were closed, and they have no emergency hours. I had to scout out another electrician. I'm happy to report that I found one, and will never use anyone else. Today, Monday, a representative finally called me back. I explained that it might be a good business practice to have either an emergency contact or someone monitoring messages over the weekend for such instances. Unfortunately his reply was, "yeah, we don't do that". This is just horrible customer service.

The work they started was great in May! I was super happy until the mess I'm in now. I needed to wait to hire someone else to do the drywall in order for the ceiling fan to be hanged. Which was totally fine, we just needed 2 months to save some money to have someone come do that. After we had that completed, I called Ideal in July to have Scott come back to hang the ceiling fan. But now after multiple phone calls, I only received 1 call back, which I did miss unfortunately, but I called back right away and now have yet to receive a call back since. Ideal/Scott, why won't you call me back so this job can be completed? I've also called to ask for a manager to call me and I've never received that call either. I'm just honestly disappointed. This is for my toddler's room and she's been hot in there with these higher temps lately and this fan would help so much. I've called begging and crying to please call me back and nobody has. I'm not sure why this is happening, for I paid for the job already as well.

Ideal Electrical has been very efficient, from first contact to job completion. Had all our smoke and carbon monoxide detectors replaced. The electrician synched up all the detectors outdoors so the screeching alarms weren’t going off inside our home and then quickly got them all secured in place. We have other little projects to do and will be working with Ideal again.

Kevin was the only front man there that actually tried to help me out. The other two guys were very indifferent to my situation and seemed as if they were just there for a paycheck. Terrible CS for individual walk-ins.

I called VMA Electric, and within a day, Tim called me back. He quickly scheduled a visit, met with us, and made an effort to prioritize our project since we were in the final stages.
There was a small hiccup along the way, but that’s normal in construction. Tim would always explain each step, kept me informed and would always returned my calls promptly. The office is very organized, and every check payment I made came with a receipt, which is rare with contractors these days.
Overall, I was very pleased with their work. Their pricing was fair and I would definitely keep them in mind for future projects!
