Having worked with Tingley before and being very happy with their services I called them again this time to check out an issue with a breaker on the main panel. I scheduled an appointment for later in the week but they called later in the day to check if they could come the same day, as they had a cancelation. The techs came soon after and were very professional. They looked into the issue and provided the options and cost for each before starting the work. They kept me posted at every step and explained what needed to be done and why, but leaving the decision to me. They worked diligently, walked me through the work they did and were curtious and service minded. I can recommend Tingley to everyone and will definitely use them in the future, for any electric needs.

After lighting struck we had no power and Vinnie cam by first thing the next day. He worked to give us several options and followed up with Eversource who was being difficult. He went out of his way to help even on a Sunday. Great quality and service at an affordable price. I will definitely call them again.

Liam Walker was punctual, competent, friendly, thorough, and willing to explain clearly and in detail what he was doing and why. He and his assistant were also efficient. I am very pleased with their process, their work, and the results and would recommend them and Tingley Electric most enthusiastically.

I had Tingley service my AC unit. The techs Kyle and Jessie were professional, efficient and very clear about what was needed and done. They were a pleasure to have in my house. The entire experience with Tingley from scheduling to service completion was exceptional. Highly recommend.

I had Tingley come out to quote me a price for upgrading my home to 200 amp service. They were on time and very professional. They outlined the work they would do and offered me two tiers of quotes, and offered to do the work same day (which is impressive for a significant job like this). I ended up not going with their quote as it was more expensive than others I got. It is possible the increased price is worth it if they do high quality work and are responsible for the outcome, but I simply couldn’t afford it at this point. A bummer the quote cost $90 which is why this is four stars. I’m definitely open to hiring them in the future when I can afford the premium associated with their quality/guaranteed work!

Liam arrived on time for the appointment, installed new light switch timers, adjusted the outdoor in-ground spot lights, and checked our breaker panel. He is very professional, does excellent work, and a very pleasant person. I highly recommend Tingly Electric Services.

Ari did an excellent job meeting our requirements and installing a new bathroom exhaust fan. He and Victor were very competent, knowledgeable and answered all my questions with patience. They were considerate to always use booties in our carpeted home, and thoroughly cleaned up after the job was finished. I would not hesitate to have Ari back for additional work that we need!

Tingley Electric, and their service techs Liam and John, are always professional, knowledgeable, and personable. I can count on them to get the job done right. Today they helped with a fixture installation, replacing some old light switches and plugs, as well as installing a new outlet on a home library renovation. Great job and stress-free! Highly recommend.

SERVICE: REPLACED OUR FURNACE

Brett Siegel and his team were very friendly and nice when here. They completely replaced our furnace for $25,000. Seemed expensive but they started immediately and finished quickly. Now, less than a month later...we have no heat!

I called expecting an apologetic reply, and then was told next available is 2/8...4 days wait????

This is absolutely unacceptable customer service. I want a call back asap. I just called, should be in the notes...

Tingley went above and beyond to make sure we are happy!

My issue was with the weekend on-call answering service representative.

I called back and requested to speak to a manager and I am so happy I did. Our concerns were immediately validated and a technician (who was part of the original install team) quickly came to our home. Ryan, the owner, even called to follow-up... NOW THAT IS QUALITY CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! We appreciate Tingley and are happy to continue working with them. 5 stars!

Good things: clear communication from Tingley about Jason and Noah’s arrival today . Quick diagnosis of problem, quick fix.

Less than optimal things:
Waiting 2 weeks for this to get done after paying for the subscription plan and preferred status.

Price for diagnosis and minor work was much more than I expected with a discount (per membership on the diagnosis and labor), and in comparison to other major work we had done with Tingley in the past.

Will likely use again given the good work they do.

We had Tingley preform an inspection on our new home’s electrical system, upgrade some outlets, and upgrade some fuses. Jason was our technician (along with Kellen) and they did a fantastic job. They answered all our questions, helped us understand what work we needed done, and completed it in a timely manner. Will definitely be a repeat customer!

Jason and his assistant were absolutely amazing. They installed a whole new electrical panel, light fixture, and new outlet. They were very patient in answering questions and explaining why we needed this upgrade, as well as explaining the different options available. They were quick, efficient, neat, and considerate. They even made sure to keep our Wi-Fi up and running while the power was off. The finished electrical panel was a "work of art." They also made recommendations on items that needed to be repaired or upgraded next time. Working with them as well as Tingley Electric Services is confidence inspiring. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs electrical work.

Once again we are so glad that our neighbors referred us to Tingley Electric! This morning, at 11:00AM, as promised David and Tony arrived at our door. They really listened to our concerns with genuine interest. They inspected our electrical situation from top floor to basement, and presented us with a comprehensive plan. Then David and Tony went to work. What a team! It was immediately evident to us that excellence and quality really matter to these two men. Everything was done with such care, --even down to the perfect "clean-up" of each area of their work.
Thanks to David and Tony, we are again thoroughly satisfied and really glad to be clients of Tingley Electric. Well done!

Had to update my review now that it was done. The technicians were nice but i paid $1376.35 for the replacement of two light of which I bought one and the other they used all the old parts?? Can’t wait for the detailed bill on this one. Unfortunate.

After production on a home project was halted for 3 weeks due to an electrician ghosting us after doing some of the rough work, I called in Tingley as found on a local FB reference board. I was put in their schedule for the following week. They were very prompt (got notification when they were on their way and could even track the truck), came and did the rough work quickly and very cleanly. Scheduled the final work another week out and they did a fabulous job. Professional, very clear pricing and an amazingly clean work site. They will be the first electrician I contact for future jobs!

These guys installed a very nice exhaust fan with an LED light, inspected all outlets and light switches, looked at the breaker box and gave me recommendations for the safety and future value of my home (without being pushy) in about 3 hours.
When you find a service provider this good STOP LOOKING!

I had a great experience with Tingley Home Services! I needed some light switches changed out for smart switches, so I called them up. I saw good reviews and saw that they were local, so I went with them. I didn't end up doing too much shopping around for prices, but I was very satisfied with the service. The electricians were friendly, knowledgeable, and got the job done.

As someone who is pretty comfortable with DIY and smart home setup, I was able to set up the switches myself, but the Doug (the lead electrician for my visit) did offer to help and from chatting I knew that he was well versed with various smart home systems.

On a separate occasion, I also had them do some maintenance on my heating system. I called all over, but everyone else was booked for maintenance out until January (but there was still openings for "service")! Tingley was able to schedule an appointment within the week, which was great!

My only "complaints" would be that they do not give quotes over the phone and you have to pay for them to come out before they can give you any other pricing information. When they did come, their prices were definitely a little higher than what I had gotten from other companies as well. However, the quality of service and availability of scheduling was top notch, so you are definitely getting what you pay for!
