These guys are awesome. So friendly and helpful. I recommend GC Home Depot to everyone.
we ordered a custom sized door to our basement. The first door was an inch to tall. They re-measure... Months later we get a second door, its an inch away from latching. Someone comes out to re-measure... Wks go by, no call...we call to find out what's happening. "Is the door almost ready?"...no we haven't ordered it. Basically they just gave up... we decided to get a refund and go elsewhere. In total they wasted six months time., and couldn't finish the job. I'm still confused what the problem was because we had a door that fit(w a cat door in it), and just wanted to replace it w a plain door... They could've just measured the old door, and cutting other than 90 degree angles is impossible.
I was returning a $4 item off of a gift card. Santell the cashier did not seem to like me asking why I had to present my ID. I knew I was going to have to present it, just wanted to know specifically why. After I presented my driver's license and put it away. She asked me first and last. First and last what, she said name which I stated. Then she asked me to spell my last name which I did. Then she asked me once again to State my first and last name which I did again. Then she asked me for my driver's license again. Was all this really necessary. On a $4 return of a plumbing item that I purchased both styles to make sure I had what I needed. I understand home Depot has problems with theft of gift cards. But you would think a store would understand who they're good and they're bad customers are especially after they've been in there and had their IDs scanned, which by the way I do not like at all.
They lie and can't keep people there. Dont waste your time
They did an awesome job!
