I had a great experience working with J's. Jason gave me a very reasonable quote for the work they did (stump grinding) and tree removal. Sara handled scheduling and email communications which were prompt and courteous. The work was done by two separate small crews and both were timely, surgical, and clean. We have a large yard with tons of plants and trees so it's not an easy area to navigate in order to remove another large tree. Overall, very happy with the work done, and a positive reminder to use smaller local companies such as this one.

We've worked with J's twice now - once to remove a very large, old white pine which was very close to our house (and dangerously close to tipping over), and another time to remove a large amount of trees and invasives in our backyard as well as very large brush piles that were on the property when we bought it. J's team was efficient and friendly. Always checking in with us to ensure we were happy with the work, and also when rain came, to make sure they weren't damaging our yard with heavy equipment. The site was left very clean and we were super impressed with how effectively they removed all the invasives, which would have taken us months to do. Pricing was transparent and fair - much lower than initial estimates we received from others - and communication was frequent. Will definitely reach out to J's if we need to remove anything more, and would highly recommend J's!

J's recently took down 14 trees that posed some risk to my property. The crew arrived on time, were courteous and treated the property as their own. The foreman kept me in the loop on progress and decisions and also let me observe and learn. The disposal of the trees caused some unanticipated stress on the lawn but J's responded quickly by spreading black dirt and seed. I observed the team working hard all day and in sync. They shared all aspects of the job and no task seemed below anyone on the team. Impresssive. I would recommend giving them a chance to bid your next job, they are professionals. Check out this notch for a close tree fall.

Highly recommend!! They were recommended by a neighbor so we hired them to remove two 50' pine trees leaning toward our house. They were punctual, professional, and courteous, and they did an outstanding job!

J's Tree Trimming did an excellent job of clearing 3 large trees and hundreds of small trees at The Petting Farm at Domino's Farms. The work was done quickly and professionally, they did all that they said they would do and made sure I was happy with the work they did. I know that the area they cleared will be beautiful this summer rather than a garbled mess of shrubs and small trees.

We used J's Tree Trimming & Removal about 7-8 years ago to remove a large Maple that had been planted too close to our house. We thought they did an excellent job at the time and at a good price, so we called them in this past month to get a quote on removing 18 overgrown pine trees and a large Silver Maple. Initially, all I wanted was the Silver Maple removed, I did not think I could afford to have all the pines taken care of. But while Jay, the owner, was here, I asked him to give me a quote on the 18 pines to just know what it would cost price wise to remove them. He gave me a package price to remove and dispose of all 18 of the pines, and I was pleasantly surprised to find it was quite reasonable. We agreed on the work, the price, and they gave me a date they would be out to start the job. On that day, they had a crew of four arrive at 9:00am and when they left after 4:00pm, they had over half the job completed. Jay also came by at the end of the day to check on the work, make sure everything was properly cleaned up, and to update me on when they would be back and to see if I had any concerns. Overall, I was quite happy with how the job was going. Today, they arrived around noon, and by just before dark they had completed everything but the stump grinding, which Jay had already told me would be completed later on in the week. After the initial quote to have the job done, my wife and I talked to Jay about having two additional diseased pine trees in our front yard also removed. Jay proved willing to work with us on that, to make it fit into our budget, and soon we agreed on a price and the work to be done. These two trees were also removed today. I showed Jay where my septic field was in relation to the trees to be removed, and he made sure his crew did not bring any equipment across my lawn where the septic field was. I am quite happy with the work. They did everything they promised and on time. They raked and cleaned up all the debris, and even cleaned up the saw dust from removing the large maple.
