Katy Bigelow is a knowledgeable, professional and courteous arborist and a welcome member of the community. I fully recommend her if you need some questions answered about your trees! And in response to Luis A's bizarre rant: The woodchips are not "waist" as you phrased it. All parks use them to improve the soil to help with plant growth. Snohomish parks approved putting the woodchips here. There is no "ethics violation". I confirmed all of this with Snohomish Parks and Rec.
Katy was awesome. I was having a hard time with a timber trespass issue, since I couldn't find anyone to give me a reasonable value on my trees. She was professional and thorough. Katy was exceptional. I am a crabby, old geezer. I know how to find fault. Katy was superlative and I can not. Not anywhere. I think this is the first time, ever. If she is busy, wait for her to fit you in. You will be extremely pleased that you did. Usually I tell people to ignore my advice. This is the exception. Be patient and let her fit you in.
