DO NOT waste time and money with this company. From the beginning the employees of this company were incompetent. We spent $140 on application fees to rent a house with them, and they didnt pull their weight to get the job done. Over a period of two weeks and three revised leases the leasing agent couldn't get the lease correct- it was very embarrassing. Between all three leases the amounts kept changing and being called different things. By the third lease there were fees associated with the rental that were never even discussed in the online advertisement or any previous emails. Also they are not familiar with laws involving service animals. After sending the credentials for the animal to the leasing agent she never took the fee away the pet deposit fee- I shouldn't have to tell them its illegal to charge pet fees for service animals. I'm not saying that they would, Im just saying the customer shouldn't be the one educating the business. When I called about getting our applications fees back for their negligence and wasting our time, they admitted fault and said the super visor would contact me- that never happened. They ignored my calls for about a week and finally answered. Trisha, the leasing manager basically had an "I dont want to hear it" attitude and eventually hung up on me. We weren't comfortable entering a business deal with an unprofessional company. Dont trust this company to have any integrity or responsibilities when they mess up - like children.
Really disappointed with the follow through on their new homes. The finishes are what you would expect in a new mass produced home, nothing to write home about, with some clear lack of craftsmanship (for example, cabinets were full of sawdust from countertop install). But what makes this a frustrating experience has been the ongoing electrical/appliance issues and the lack of response from the builder. We’ve lived in our place for 6 months, and we still haven’t received items that were promised during closing. Some of these items prevent us from using certain areas of our home. It was always something or another, and then they just completely stopped responding to messages, phone calls, etc. Two out of the 3 appliances the builder has provided have failed and have had to be replaced, one of them out of pocket. The builder wasn’t willing to help with the broken appliances they installed. Edit to add: a year in, I went ahead and lowered the rating to one star, as it has been nothing but issues dealing with Landsverk and the house they’re built. In our unit, the LVT flooring has buckled and cracked, the LVT stairs have literal nails popping up through the vinil and piercing our feet. Every issues gets resolved with a bandaid to get it to last until warranty expires. We’ve had so many issues with our plumbing, with the HVAC, with moisture, and with our roof. About 30% of our neighbors had to have their water heaters replaced already, so we are anxiously waiting for ours to go too.
