R&R was called by in our neighborhood association to troubleshoot the LED lights not working at our subdivision entranceway. Prior to being called we had replaced the old flood lighting at the entranceway with new LED lights which were very expensive. We did this ourselves. That lighting worked well for a couple of months and then the lights would go out when it rained. This was due to poor and damaged conduit ( approx 30 feet ) that needed to be replaced. The wiring and conduit was damaged due to constant replanting and fertilizer over the years. When we received the bill from R&R after the repair it was excessive. To the tune of $1200 !! They had not only charged us for new conduit and wiring they had charged us for NEW LED lights ( on both sides of the road.) and a new new photo cell which were all newly replaced just a couple of months before ! We contacted the owner and asked why they had replaced the lights which were new ! The owner said they had replaced the lights because they were told to do so. I asked, “ Well, did ya think to test the light to see if it worked since they looked new ?? “. He said “ Nope, we just replaced them because we were told to replace them”. This is a flat out lie. The person that called them for the repair knew the lights were new and would have never told him that. If this was a quality contractor protecting the best interests of the customer they would have tested those lights to see if they worked since they obviously looked NEW ! Plus the RAAB lighting we installed prior to them coming was under warranty!! Word advice, Don’t use them.
