He was there every step of the way with exceptional and responsive customer service! Everything was completed ahead of schedule with professionalism and integrity. I recently purchased a Sunrun Solar system through Costco, and I couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. From start to finish, the process was seamless and stress-free, thanks to the outstanding efforts of Kim Ravenswood, my sales representative, and the installation team. Kim guided me through the initial stages with professionalism and clarity, making sure all my questions were answered and that I felt confident in my decision. Her knowledge and dedication were evident, making the entire process smooth and enjoyable. The installation team, was punctual, professional, and executed the installation flawlessly. The quality of their work was top-notch, and they ensured everything was done to the highest standards. I am thrilled to now power my home and two electric cars using solar energy, significantly reducing my reliance on the power company. Additionally, the whole-home backup battery provides me with peace of mind, knowing I have a reliable power source during outages. I highly recommend Sunrun and especially commend Kim Ravenswood for her exceptional service. If you’re considering making the switch to solar, look no further than Sunrun.

Edit/update: A service representative proactively reached out, although I had to follow up when the "24 hour guaranteed response" reached three days. While mildly annoying, I don't think it's a representation of sunrun as a whole. As it turns out, my main concern about adding more equipment, while definitely more than a mild annoyance, was probably a miscommunication, which happens. Adjusting from 2 to 5 stars. Ultimately, we are happy with the product. Communication could have been better, but in the end, sunrun took ownership and did as much as they could to make us happy. Can't really ask for much more. I'm also willing to give the benefit of the doubt around expectations of adding to the system. I clearly asked what could or could not be added. Perhaps my question was simply just misunderstood. I'm willing to see things that way given how positive everything else has been. Original review: I did not have any issues with installation or quality of product. I could write a 4-5 star review if that were the extent of my experience. Excel takes their time, but sunrun can hardly be blamed. The reason for my review has to do with awful expectations around potential changes. We were assured during the consultation we could add to the system. We found it difficult to estimate the size system to install. That and adding a battery. These decisions result in potentially $10-30k in costs. Being assured we could always add to our system, we went with a lower production system and no battery. My advice- they do quality work (in my experience), but they seemingly will just tell you what you want to hear as a last ditch effort to close. Had we been clearly told that whatever we decided was permanent, we likely would have taken time to think things over. But since we were assured we could make changes later, it seemed like a no brainer to do it. We're not unhappy, but I'm giving 2/5 because I'm stuck with something I would have done differently. The irony is I'd actually be happy to spend more money and likely would give them 5/5.

This company is full of liars and theives. I will never recommend them to anyone. When we first had a consultation with them about our solar panels we had concerns about pigeons. They told us there would be zero problem with pigeons.. turns out there was a major problem. They refused to come install pigeons guards. So we had to pay to have everything cleaned and installed pigeon guards. THEN turns out the solar panels hadn't been working the entire time we've had them ( 4 years) because THEY didn't install them correctly. And now they are refusing to reimburse us. So disappointed in this company and their customer service

DO NOT GO WITH SUNRUN, they are the absolute worst. They started out amazing, our sales person Spencer has been the only positive part of our experience. He is still trying to do what he can to help us with this disaster. The installers put a hole in our roof which we discovered when it was raining. They were supposed to come and look at the damage so they could get it fixed only to have them not know why they were there in the first place, so they had to come back as they didn't have what they needed. When they finally came back, they had to take the panels off to fix the roof. When they came to put them back on a part was broken and had to be ordered. During this time our point of contact changed with no communication. They had to come several times and it is still not fixed. We had this installed back in November and still aren't able to enjoy solar. They refuse to pay our utility bill due to their error and the outrageous time frame of getting this fixed. The communication has been so bad, they don't keep you in the loop of what's going on and we still don't understand why it has yet to be fixed. This company is horrible do your research and go with anyone but them, don't make the same mistake!
