I received very poor service from Root O Matic. They were hired to clean out two sewer lines. They took the sewage ejection cap off the basket when they worked on the kitchen line and refused to put it back together. I had to call another plumber to finish the job costing another $150 and keeping my from using my kitchen sink until the additional work was done. Because they refused to put the cap back on the catch basket, my house had sewer gas in it. YUK! Do not do business with these unprofessional people.
Our downstairs bathroom, kitchen and utility room had been flooding with sewage backup any time we used the dishwasher, washing machine and toilet. First visit the technician unclogged our toilet, and in doing so broke the valve to turn toilet water on and off, but said the flooding problem had been fixed. Cost $250.00. Fast forward a month, my downstairs floors are covered in sewage again, with no way to turn off the toilet water. Technician comes out, says it’s the same problem and “fixes” it again, as well as replaced the broken valve from previous visit. Charges me $90.00 for the valve he broke! Fast forward another month, same issue. Now I’m 30 towels and $350.00 down, different technician comes out and finds the root of the problem is a clog in my tank. Says he fixes the problem, and attempts to charge me another $250.00. As I asked how he expected me to pay again for service they failed to appropriately fix two times in several months, he cuts me off, storms out the door and yells to never call them again. Good riddance. Don’t use these folks.
