Cool Breeze AC on Oahu was amazing. If you’re looking for someone who understands A/C units, professional, easy to work with, and so very responsive, go give Avery a call at Cook Breeze AC. Our experience with Avery was spectacular from day 1, which was approximately 6 months ago. Long story short, our units failed on us 6 months ago and he repaired our 10+yr old units in the summer time to alleviate the intense heat we were having in Hawaii. All the while, Avery was honest about how the unit is on its last leg, which may be ready for replacement in 6 months. He did not pressure us into replacing the unit immediately, but suggested we give him a call when we next needed him. Fast forward 6 months and indeed, he was correct, our AC unit decides it doesn’t want to operate and cool down the home. By now, it is winter time and the temperature outside is not quite as hot. We discussed options and settled on a replacement. He was able to book us an appt the next week, so a weekend in the hot home was bearable. As bad luck would have it, our replacement units were sold to another customer when Avery went to pick up the units, so we had to wait another 2 weeks before they arrived. However, Avery had fantastic customer service and offered to come out that day to help alleviate us of the heat by taking a look at our dying AC unit and repair it free of charge. He did not expect payment, but we tipped him for his kindness and efforts to help us. When the new units had arrived a few weeks later, he notified us immediately and again booked our appt. He arrived on time and he worked with another colleague to replace our units…one in the home and one outside. They both were very polite, took great care to not scratch walls or doors, took off their shoes, and worked very quietly. At some point, the AC unit did not fit up in our attic through the opening, but both colleagues worked diligently to take the machine apart and put it back together after it fit through the ceiling. I had no idea this was happening because both were very quiet and I heard no complaints or noise. They both were very professional and got the job done within the time frame (which was from 9-4pm). It was so hot inside the house during their replacement of the units (obviously no AC was running), but neither one of them complained. Both gentleman left the home clean, free of debris, and showed us the new units and how to operate it. Avery even came back the next day with two air filters and installed them for us, giving us an extra filter for the next filter replacement in 6 months. For the amount of work they did and how pleased we were with their services, we gave them both a tip and it was refreshing to see that they both did not expect a tip at all and were very thankful for the gesture. We highly recommend Cool Breeze AC and will be scheduling our routine maintenance with them in the future. Call and ask for Avery, you won’t be disappointed! Thank you Cool Breeze!!
